@ivorycheese The people that used to play Halo have the option of playing Halo 3 or COD or Battlefield, usually settling for the latter two....all because Reach isn't as competitive, so the competitive people have to either play a 3 year old game: Halo 3, Shadowrun, *Cod 4* maybe...or play a new shiny game like Black Ops with their friends, that don't play 3 year old games

another con to reach is that you can almost never play as elites wich REALY sucks cuz i love playing as elites, manly cuz the hit box is different and its harder to snipe but also cuz they can heal in reach wich would add a twist to online gameplay

Actually it's not the hit detection so much as it's the fact that human weapons are hitscan now. This means that if your crosshairs was over an opponent, and you fire, your bullet WILL hit, whereas in Halo 3 the bullet would take a second, this is very noticeable with snipers.

There's just one epic fail in this game that they didn't get rid of. Energy swords... seriously, at least give us an option in matchmaking to search for games without it, so that noobs have to learn some skill. It just spoils all the fun on close quarters maps.

The thing Reach got right was the Campaign. Fuck the multiplayer, the players are wayyy too strong. I sold my Reach today because of Multiplayer, after shooting someone 5-10 times in the head on this map and not killing him, then getting shot twice and died got me SO pissed. Halo isn't for me.
