I think the cat was just asleep and its owner woke the cat up. I've seen enough domestic cats sleeping. To know that they can sometimes appear dead when fast asleep. The cats reaction was also similar to a humans reaction when waking up. So, that basically .....I can't think of anything else to type..

CQOTD: I'd let my late cat Natasha (1990-2008) wake up independently from her sleep. I admit I'd pet her from happiness in seeing her so content and woke her up sometimes, which she never minded. At times, she slept by my side when I was near our living room couch or in my room! Overall, I hope the cat owner in the video understands that cats are wonderful someday.
