@orinsisi Ever heard of Raptors TV? TO has the 4th largest population in the NBA and by far the strongest economy with the wealthiest ownership and every year they sell 95% of their seats. All this for a team that hardly ever has a winning record. The only big name that left the team as a free agent was TMac, and that had more to do with being the #1 option, which he never would have been with VC - and look what it got him - only once into the 2nd round. Raps are here for good.
I thought this was the year for us when we beat Cavaliers in our season opener. But you can say we had tough games keeping up with the great teams such Lakers, Cavaliers etc. We mostly lost to the teams that we're lower than 0.500W/L. There's better luck next year hopefully CB4 stays or re-signs and get a good trade. We need to change the bench also.

Toronto needs a steady shooting guard that can play solid D and create his own shot. Im not saying a superstar but a good player. Thats what this team needs. If Bosh stays in Toronto they will have a good future since the players are still young and still improving every game. Demar has to step up big time for this team to win. Defense and passing should improve greatly if this team wants to make it to the second round. Playoff bound right now baby!
Raptors just need to upgrade their PG,they need all star type pg if they wanna win.....they are good for every other position.All the championship contending teams have an all star pg....so hopefully raptors will get one this summer
@stevechen1991 I like jarret jack at the PG position, he gives the raptors toughness, and he has the best fg% in the league for any starting pg. calderone is overpaid and he might be on his way out of toronto soon. Raptors do need a tough centre for defense against the power houses. This is what bargnani has had a tough time with throughout his career thus far. if bargs can improve his 1 on 1 defense against the likes of dwight howard, perkins, bynum, nene.... the raptors should be nice.

I agree the Raptors are a very good team mainly because of Bosh but I do not like their style of play. If they are not giving the ball to Bosh then they just have guys (especially their 6'7-taller players not named Bosh) that shoot 3's all day. The Knicks play like that too and its stupid to watch a team shoot 50 3-pters a game. Difference between Knicks nd Raptors is Bosh which is why Raps are 5 seed now (until the Bulls pass them eventually).

Tyson Chandler AVG. 1.8 bpg a couple of yrs ago yet he was getting funked on by 5'10 guys all the time (We all know CHandler is soft and not good defender).

I think it was good they included Vince Carter in the video. 10 years, 100 years from now he will always be an integral part of the history, he was our first All-Star, First true leader of the team, First Frachise Player, First player to help us win a playoff series and really put Toronto on the B-Ball map. Raptors just need to upgrade their PG,they need all star type pg if they wanna win.....they are good for every other position.All the championship contending teams have an all star pg....so hopefully raptors will get one this summer

@stevechen1991 I like jarret jack at the PG position, he gives the raptors toughness, and he has the best fg% in the league for any starting pg. calderone is overpaid and he might be on his way out of toronto soon. Raptors do need a tough centre for defense against the power houses. This is what bargnani has had a tough time with throughout his career thus far. if bargs can improve his 1 on 1 defense against the likes of dwight howard, perkins, bynum, nene.... the raptors should be nice.

I agree the Raptors are a very good team mainly because of Bosh but I do not like their style of play. If they are not giving the ball to Bosh then they just have guys (especially their 6'7-taller players not named Bosh) that shoot 3's all day. The Knicks play like that too and its stupid to watch a team shoot 50 3-pters a game. Difference between Knicks nd Raptors is Bosh which is why Raps are 5 seed now (until the Bulls pass them eventually).

@JZ2001JC the same bulls that lost by 40 to the raptors? I don't think the bulls will pull ahead of the raptors, might be close but im pretty sure raps got 5th seed. Unless by some miracle they pass atlanta. check out the bulls schedule for march..... not fun. it's going to be heat, bulls, bucks, bobcats battling for 6th 7th and 8th.

@gwrighter. True and after I write this the Bulls lose to Wizards after big wins, they are a funny team. Of course Raptors won by 40 because all they do is shoot 3's and of course they had an on night vs CHI. No big deal anyways since Bulls and Raptors each have no shot at winning the title this yr. If anything I can't stand the Raptors style of play---bunch of ogars hositing up 3's all game long (except for Bosh).

@lakers15xchamps. Bulls are not a jump shot only team. They get a lot of fastbreak PTS which is when they are at their best, that and Derrick ROse. Derrick ROse ives them a lot of easy layups/dunks.
I already said Toronot is a team that A---gives it to Bosh or B---has clumsy big men that shoot 3's. And they are only up by 1 game in loss column on Bulls now.
Anyways, Bulls Franchise>Raptors Franchise. You want credentials---Our 6 Title Trophies (And don't play the 1995 EXIS Card).

@JZ2001JC Chris bosh needs space to work inside because he is a face up offensive player. putting a centre out on the perimeter will open up the defense for 1 on 1 where chris bosh dominates everyone. bulls have picked up there play as of late though i don't watch too many of their games. And bulls franchise> raptors. but that is besides the point. looking at how the celts are playing, the raptors would match up better vs celts then Hawks. so bulls can have hawks first round lol!

@gwrighter. I think any of the bottom teams (Bulls, Raps, Bucks, etc) would all want an old injured team like BOS to face in RD 1 now. Bulls-HAwks---I would take as well. Anyone but ORL and CLE (and even CLE we seemingly always play tough and could take them to 6 or 7). Bulls and Hawks are even.
Lets also see Bulls and Raps are not too far aoart in standings. WHat if Bosh signs in CHI next yr, then Bulls pull WAY WAY ahead of Raps. Nuff Said.

Everybody constantly talks about bosh leaving....he feels that he wants a team to be built around him which is what the raps org is committed to doing. He even said that maybe the raptors should get somebody instead of him leaving. Unless the bulls are ready to offer a 6 year 133 million contract and build around him hes not goin there. The raps are willing to pay and build, its on the other teams to match the offer.

I will take Rose anyday over those two. And the Bulls cleared so much cap space that other than NY Knicks they will have the most money to spend this summer. Im not saying we will get Bosh but we will get some big time FA. Too much money, 3rd biggest City, and best PG in the East will attract.

JJ is solid and cheap, turkoglu is sick, can't hate, finals last year. Bargnani is sick, 7 footer shoots 3s blocks some shots clears space for CB, the raps lack depth at the 2 and arguably the 5 spot. cap space doesnt necessarily mean big FA's signings cuz what is there to offer besides D-Rose & fantasy what if's. besides each Big FA is gonna get offered Max by their own teams. which are better then the bulls...cept the heat but Dwade/rose wouldnt work. and chi is 4th biggest, after Toronto ;).

@gwrighter. Bargini only shoots 3's, he is a horrid defender. Block shots, yeah 2 out of 30 (meaning he gets scored on the other 28 times). Joakim Noah>Defender and Rebounder than Bargini or anyone else NOT named Chris Bosh on Raps. Deng is having career yr. Turkaglu okay but is getting very old. And yall don;t have any PGs that could even come close to Derrick Rose.
I did forget Toronto is in Canada but seriously Chicago appeals to people more than Toronto.

@JZ2001JC Bargs avg.'s 1.42 BPG which is 18th best in nba... noah avg 1.56 and is 2 spots ahead of bargs... so by that logic noah is horrid defender as well.... there both good defenders, noah being the better one obviously. Bosh is an Avg defender as well. Deng's play is = to his salary. Rose is a sick scorer and a decent assist man. its funny bcz bargs is 18th in blocks and rose is 15th in assists. so comparatively hes only a lil bit better at passing then bargs is at defense. lol

@gwrighter. Maybe Bargs is beter defender than I give credit for but Stats on Defense are not an indicator of good/bad defense. Few seasons ago Jamal Tinsley was 2nd in NBA in Steals yet anyone in the league could blow by him so that stat was meaningless. Tyson Chandler AVG. 1.8 bpg a couple of yrs ago yet he was getting funked on by 5'10 guys all the time (We all know CHandler is soft and not good defender).
Bosh is an underrated defender.

@JZ2001JC. Kobe is also FA but he is obviously staying. DIrk is FA but I see him staying as well. Amare is another one but I don;t want him. He is not a true post presence. He is more of a rich man version of Tyrus Thomas (meaning he is same type of player---super athletic jumper) but way better obviously.
SkyDome in TOR seems like a cool place. DO they still have the hotel rooms that oversea the playing field/court at that dome?

@JZ2001JC its true stats are only a hint. amare isnt a true post player, hes not very physically strong. Yup the renaissace hotel is still open at the skydome though im not sure many ppl stay there. Considering that the Blue Jays are in the same division as the yankees and Bo sox there is no way tdot is makin it to any world series soon, all of the baseball would be fans have picked up basketball and of course hockey. Bosh is a solid defender, come to think of it hes never out of position lol.

@gwrighter. And all I said is that the Bulls will get Someone. I could see us getting Carlos Boozer because he has mentioned that he wants to leave Utah, and he loves playing with big time PGs and running pick and rolls with them, well guess what, we have a big time PG and he runs the pick and roll to perfection.
There are like tons of big name FAs this season, not just Bosh. If anything Boozer is more of a physical presence but Bosh can play more inside-outside versatile game.

@JZ2001JC USA media only likes to talk about LBJ DWade and Bosh, but your right there are soo many good players with an option to terminate they're contracts. Boozer would be a pretty good fit. bulls need to do something with hinrich, hes too good to be getting the shaft. Toronto is one of those places that no one knows anything about but its actually a really sick place, 3rd biggest media centre in north america. Charles barkley's fav city. Chicago would be a good place to play as well.

I apologize if I coveted the Bulls to move up in the playoff rankings earlier. They are now showing their true sucky selfs with a 4 game losing streak, only in the playoffs now by a half game. ANd their schedule gets tougher without Noah. I am a true fan but honestly since 1999 this franchise has been a disgrace to the NBA. No FAs will come here and we will continue to be the laughing stock of the league. The curse of the Elton Brand trade continues. Best of luck Raptors in playoffs.

I think it was good they included Vince Carter in the video. 10 years, 100 years from now he will always be an integral part of the history, he was our first All-Star, First true leader of the team, First Frachise Player, First player to help us win a playoff series and really put Toronto on the B-Ball map. Putting him in the video sends a message that the organization has gotten over Vince, even though a lot of the fans haven't. When Charles Barkley left Philly nobody booed him 2 years later.

Carter never had a problem with the city - he had 2 houses and a nightclub here - he had issues with management, and seeing what was once a playoff contender becoming a lower-level team in the east. Still, the way he left was childish and you can't respect that, so the boos were deserved. Time to get over it though.
