Of course he does, he doesn't just do stencils all the time he's also done drawing,painting and sculpture peices. and even doing stenciling is an art form and he's great at doing them. Plus you don't need to be good at painting to be good at Art.

@calum3900 its definitely an art form, but most people would say it doesnt require the talent painting and drawing do. Painting and drawing are natural gifts, like having a great singing voice. If he was the one that painted those oil paintings that he put graffiti all over.. then id definitely say he was talented. If he only added the graffiti to them he would still be creative, but not exactly talented. For some reason i just cant see him sitting down and doing those oil paintings lol.

@calum3900 Agree 100% And to answer love letters question. I dont think he painted all of these. some he did. Others he re arranges or gets a painting and adds over it. Ex look at the mona lisa or the monet one. Thos r copes of Da Vinci's and Monet's and Banksy makes a modern twist and sometimes a political statement. I think Banksy is an anarchist im not sure tho. I really enjoyed this exhibition, even the unusual idea of blending in with a museums existing collection. My favourite pieces were: the ufo one; monkey parliament and painting over the Damien Hirst piece (LSD) thrilled me to bits. The creepy animatronics were top notch and the tribute to Micheal Jackson was incredible.

I still don't know if the Rolf Harris exasperated letter "I just don't know what you people want from me!" plus chair, was Banksy or not.

What a fabulous show! Hugely imaginative and humorous and great fun, but with added social comment. Showed Bristol and its museum at its best. What a great gift from Banksy. I queued 4 hours to get in first time and it was well worth it. went again the last two days, only queuing 2 hours on Sunday and half an hour today, just before it closed on Bank[sy] Holiday Monday.

A treasure hunt and works on many levels. Banksy invades Bristol City museum and shows perhaps that life is what we make it. The queue was 4 hours long on 8th August at 10am and the gift shop closes slightly before the building does... so careful.there. I though it was brilliant and it compliments a beautiful and vibrant city. Nice work Banksy and good work silkyTV great vid.
