You are right, had a bad day at work and saw the clip while surfing. I am sorry for direspecting you or your kata. Just delete my last post, your kata is great
No hip motion while it's a white belt kata. I don't see your katas in you account. May be you should show me how you performed your katas to help me in my futur practice.
@isaste11 it is my first kata also as white belt and we don't have hip motions to learn for this one, just for pina nidan which we learned as second one..
Aanyway, just wanna say thanks for videos, they are helpful ;)
To the performer of this kihon, please try to remember your foot positioning as you move throughout all kihon and kata. You must not turn your front foot outwards as you advance into the next step of seisan-dachi nor can you pivot or lift your foot off of the ground while stepping back. These two physical observations show a lack of shime/shibori principles and if they are present in a white belt kihon you can bet they will emerge in more advanced kata. Just a tip, keep up the good work!
wow same here but ive never heard of the katas you just said for yelow belt.. by the way.. I go to the main head quarters of Chito-ryu in Ontario Higashi School of Karate.
Good form.

This is a basic kata that we train in our Chito Ryu class. Focused on mainly by our yellow belts.
