Coincido con hamstbow en que este tipo es un payaso
Traslation: I agree with Hamstbow to say that this guy is a clown ... he can not waist such talent and make so bad version of Starry Night in wich he had terribly confused at the minute 2:27 AM ... and that is nothing but wrong again ... Dude if you are gonna play such a delicate and sensitive ballad try to learn the song at least (which is the structure..such as "A" and "B" part and the chorus .. etc, OK? You suck!!!!

I don't know if it's just the backing that is off but the performance seems a little forced. Sure it's this guitarist's interpretation of the song and I can not play that good but it just doesn't "do it" for me. It sounds very much like a "sheet music" rendition rather than a "playing from the heart" performance.
Whether or not it is good or bad is irrelevant.. if it doesn't "do it" for someone, then it doesn't do it. period.
Hey man, I just wanted to say that you are a talented guitarist by any measure. Your tone was fabulous as well. I have to say to all the immature people here that are bagging on you because you're not doing a "perfect" rendetion of Satriani can go piss off. Besides that, Satriani jerks off so much in his solos, he could stand a little editing and redoing. It's ironic that i like every guitarist Joe has taught MUCH better than him. Anyway, enough about Joe lol You were very good man! -Dave
Your obviously talented on guitar despite all the lovely faces you make ;) I dont know if was just meant to be ur own version of the song because u play many parts differant to satch. In my opinion this is far from the best cover but it goes without saying that your an awesome guitarist
this is an all right version of the song. although satch's songs are all instrumental and leave a lot of room for improvisation, lots of key points of the songs are needed just for phrasing's sake, you know? like, the melody and such need to be kept in order to maintain the same feeling. this is all right but not satch by any means.
is that a gibson les paul or a copy by (edwards, tokai, burny etc.)? The head stock doesn't look like it has Gibson written on it... Anways a great sound overall... I went to BJs website, and I was a little unconvinced by the sound demo's there, however the sound from this clip is much more dynamic.
hey, i was about to ask the same question but it looks like one of those mid 80's gibson when they had the whole front of the headstock black, i'm pretty sure its a gibson.
The best improvised Starry Night!

Eh, I didn't really care for his interpretation of it. It's cool that he tried to make it his own, but I just wasn't feeling his changes.

thats brisbanes finest session guitarist... I would really like to hear your interpretation if you think your up to it...

I do not have to have an interpretation in order to have an opinion about someone elses. Compared to the original, I don't like it. If you do, great.
