  • NO EYE PROTECTION !!!!

    NO EYE PROTECTION !!!!

    NO EYE PROTECTION !!!!

  • good

  • Damn don't tell me my beloved ESP came from this factory...

  • @munted66 They can easily make any kind of guitar. Take a look at your ESP guitar again and noticed, it was easily carved to your guitar that says "Made in Japan" or "Made in USA" which is a big lie.. God created heaven and earth. The rest are made in China!

  • 0:53.........A JEM BODY!!!

  • im pretty sure all my guitars came out of this factory....

  • There's a lot of complete bollocks going around the net about the poor quality of Chinese made guitars. Yes there are some real nails but there are far more decent quality copies at reasonable prices. Let's face it, most people buy a copy for it's looks. If they have any sense they don't expect it to sound like the original. For a couple of hundred bucks though you mostly get a guitar worth at least twice that. Feel sorry for these workers though. No ear protectors with that racket going on!!

  • I would suggest people look at the video of Yamaha's China factory. NIGHT AND DAY compared to this shop, but not every job is great. It's sort of like mining in the USA. Some operations are much better than others. I would not want to work at the shop in this video, but the employees are probably happy with their work. It is a shame that they don't provide health and safety precautions for these workers, but there are people in the U.S. that want to get rid of these protections, so look closely.

  • "Is it maple or mahogany or basswood? uhmmm Maple.." I think she don't know what you're talking about. LoL, It's obviously not a maple wood.

  • they do not make guitars FOR Gibson, they counterfeit guitars

  • This place looks horrible look up Yamaha or Curt factory tour looks so much better. Not all guitars from China are shit but some are, like Ibanez(;

  • @cozkidd93 haha most ibanezes are not made in china :P the are made in Indonesia or Japan. And most are better than anything made in the states at equivalent costs.

  • everything is made in china now,my ibanez atk was made in china and it was good and i bought it from an authorized distributing guitar shop.Even my beats by dre has a made in china label below the serial num on the box and i bought it from the power mac apple center here in the philippines, still, they're good quality.People think that anything made in china sucks just because china is notorious of making fake items but they dont know that some are really good.

  • shit!!! my squier and my epiphone they were!!!! SHIT CHINA!!!!!

  • what is the real price they have to work in such a factory?

  • Do they get paid properly?

  • Wether wrong or Wright it's not Epiphone so I really dont give a shit.

  • Epiphones state of the Art facility opened in 2002.

  • This is not Epiphone. Epiphone has there own facilities were only Epiphones are made and nothing else. Also at Epiphone China a lot of Epiphones work forse are from the USA from top management to master luthiers. Epiphone are much better than Gibson and have been since 2008.

  • @EPI6fingers this is wrong.

  • Here's proof right here it's no different in China as it is in the USA. The luthiers are just as good even better than the USA.

  • как на живодерне...после увиденного взять в руки иструмент мэйд ин чина ну просто невозможно

  • Kinda cool seeing this. I don't know why people hate on guitars from china. The guitars seem they are crafted very well!

  • Spotted Rockbass Warwick corvette

  • like at 35 seconds in they have b.c.rick necks

  • my epi lp std honey burst is a beauty. It doesnt sound like a gib..... obviously... but is a beautiful guitar. We are all human beings.

  • the question is not the quality of the guitars people... the question is the quality of life of these people...

  • @hungerstriker27 "low quality equals starvation". real sign that my boss took a picture of while touring a guitar factory over there.

  • @hungerstriker27 absolutely! I just wish I had the money to buy stuff, guitars for instance, that were made in good workingcircumstances..

  • in fact, i am grateful with those man, for my black epi dot, which i love... they deserve a better salary

  • those necks at 0:35 have the same logo as brand new guitar I found on Polish ebay-like for about 50 euro = 70$.

  • wow get over it, those people arent there at gun point.. they choose to work there and who cares what they get paid compared to the rest of the world, the cost of living there is sweet F.A so of course the wages are lower.. if they dont like it they can jump a boat to australia where the government welcomes them with citizenship.

  • Now I know why ya waited to the end to show youre face ....Evil eye's Eeeeeek

  • The same quality.... i dont buy marks.if u want to enhancement one of those just buy EMG pickups and done, u got a real guitar.

  • Holy Shit.... I guess my jackson rx10d is built here....n dealer screwed me off by saying it's made in japan...

  • Comment removed

  • Great insight video - thanks for that.

  • That's a forgery factory.

  • fuck i think my black fender starcaster was made here....

  • 5:15 "I never seen anything quite like it, ... Fender Stratocaster guitars." Indeed, they are Yamaha Pacifica. What a guide! Lol

  • hey i didn't see Ibanez!

  • I own Fender Guitars like made in Mexico I upgrade my fender standard Telecaster made in Mexico with new pickups like fender Noiseless Pickups is sound good I have 4 fender Mexican made like Stratocaster Telecaster and jazz bass and new fender blacktop telecaster

  • So that's where they make Chibanez

  • How many breaks they have and salary, do they have paid holiday ? Thats whats matter to me not the guitar .We that love guitars can't see what is behind scenes .

  • Keep em in china.

  • @Barnekkid Incredible!. No ears, eyes or dust protection for these human beens!!!.

  • I have a rock star friend who says, he buys all of his equipment early to middle 60's. A les paul is no longer a gibson, a strat is no longer a fender!

  • @anthonycrystal33: Bunch of BS...

  • so, this is where babies come from?

  • better this way so poor people can afford one and play than if they cant because of the prize of better ones

  • My epiphone Casino was made and China and it feels amazing.

  • @DayTripperLennon - I had an Epi Sheraton II and it sounded and played supurb. Here's the rub. Epiphone was conceived and based in the US. Now it's outsourced labor. Second. Those wonderful artisans and skilled workers in this factory are making - on average - about $175 per month. They recruit these people from the inland provences of China and put them to work 12-14 hrs a day. It's an uber-ulitarian supressed society creating an aristocratic class. I got rid of my epiphone.

  • haha ernie ball factory is way better

  • los chinos sirven nada mas para hacer comida y falsificar :D

  • 5:50 guitar design looks awesome! i would love to have one of that as my guitar collection lol

  • fordlaserfreak is right , Not all korean & china made is a complete shit .People have been judging that because china produce a lot of rip off brands, and produce a nice looking product with bad quality and cheap price

But not all of chinese factory is like that,I got a cort guitar is chinese made (shown inside my guitar) ,And i compare it with my yamaha and other brands that not-chinese-made . it turned out my cort guitar is not bad!,its even better!

  • esp and fender

  • esp

  • @akc5150 He learned this technique from watching the Gook luthier video...though unorthodox, this slope knows what he's doing!! :)

  • @moucon Chink...wtf????? Bbbbbbwwwaaaahhhhaaaaaaaahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!

  • @mephistopless "The kung fu people?" Man I busted a kidney laughing at that one, LMFAO XD

  • mattybock LMMFAO XD

  • @bennyvx08 I have a few of these Gibson LP copies, from Libertine sounds, and with a proper setup, theyre quite good playin guitars!!!

  • @JKAlpheron Too funny Man!! XD

  • @ThrashMetal669 LMFAO XD

  • no hearing protection?!...

  • @bryansouza oh thats cool. You guys use FSX to train??? I've seen purpose built simulators, but not FSX used.

I NEVER said they were any kind of decent quality, I just said the design is identical. You can grab a chinese squier guitar and it will be identical in design to an american fender. Thats all Im sayin :p

  • @bryansouza sorry, but microsoft flight simulator isnt used to train pilots. You say "we", are you a flight instructor?

Sorry but most people dont have the luxury of spending 1500 dollars on guitars like me, and apparently you, do. Not sure what you're ranting about anyway. It is what it is.

  • @bryansouza go play with your fake video game planes some more clown. You are clearly inept. These "shit guitars" make up around 70% of the market.

  • @bryansouza you should probably look at the guitars on my profile before making stupid comments. Country of origin is usually indicative of overall quality, which is why those chinese/indo/korean guitars only cost a couple hundred bucks and my japanese and american guitars sell for $1000+ I didnt say anything about quality. I said the designs are identical to the american ones. Quit getting butt hurt.

  • @bryansouza you're an idiot. Most of those body designs are straight from the source, not some "random" copies they are making....

  • @bryansouza they use cnc to cut the wood, so the desing of the guitars are identical replicas of the americans, they use a format call DXF and it is draw on autocad, so there can not be a poorly desing because the desing comes from USA so... what you think of it?

  • i want one of these fine built guitars!

  • China sucks

  • I'm sure it been said before about fakes/rip offs of the grand U.S brand. I have a Fender Squire, MADE in China. It plays/sounds good for what it is. To make it sound better, I can upgrade the pickups to Fender Noiseless, Texas Style, or Duncans. then it's good for another decade of play.

My Cort is Korean made, with active EMGs, so I don't think because it's Chinese or Korean it will be complete shit. U.S makers use china and Korea for their budget lines anyway. then mark it up 2000% in store.

  • @fordlaserfreak So fuck buying from bloodsucking retailers like Guitar Center orSam Ass, buy Trade Tang, and buy some cool Gib clones!! Peace! :)

  • @fordlaserfreak So fuck buying from bloodsucking retailers like Guitar Center orSam Ass, buy Trade Tang, and buy some cool Gib clones!! Peace! :) Also buy from Dave or Guitar shop, theyre the best on TT!!

  • @fordlaserfreak my korean 89 Squire is pretty amazing im not gonna lie they used to make some great stuff but the quality now a days is lacking

  • CAPITALISM & COMMUNISM SUCKS..!!!

human beings still not equal specially in any form of government interference. No Politicians. No Bankers. No Drug Lords. No lawyers. No Gambling Lords. No Anarchist. No to rebel Politicians. No to Dictators. No Opportunist Lazy People. No King. No Emperor. No Sultanate. No Rulers. No Royal Families. No Criminals. No Elite Evil Minded People. etc. etc.

We humans need more freedom. We dont need any government anymore.. we are all free.!!

  • @fordlaserfreak i have a squire tele and its sounds and plays like a dream ,the neck is to die for iwouldnot swap it for a u.s made one in a million years and have played both.U.S made feners areway overpiced in my opinion and at will be there dowfall, what id starting out can aforda U.S fender uness they have rich wealthy parents and who wants to hear what they have to say, rock and roll h never been bout the rich i/e elvis, the beatles ,the clash the list is endless

  • I am looking to manufacture a guitar I designed. How can I get in touch with this factory to get pricing on the manufacturing?

  • doesn't seem so bad

  • Comment removed

  • 1:28 fake gibsons.. I own three original Gibbys and they're simply the best guitars I've ever played.. I hope that all the fake Gibson factories burns.

  • @sbuba90 No, it's tokai you fool

  • my esp was made in china, my only complaint is that the hardware is black nickel which as beautiful as it is, is very soft and scratches easy. the guitar is solid sounds good and feels good

  • @uterallindenbaum

agreed, there's just something wrong. the only jackson models that are made in the cheaper asian countries are the JS models (indonesia), the rest, i.e. the X-, pro- and MG-series (even the 400$ models) are made in JAPAN, which is cool thing. the quality is great and they come either with a bag or a SKB-case. so don't blame jackson for producing cheap shit because that is simply not the case.

  • The guy with sunglasses looks like Steve O

  • Great guitars! I love them all

  • They are probably fakes ...

  • looks like a slaughter house to me...

  • @hungerstriker27 parachos are good guitars, just take care of them because I know a guy who sells parachos and he says they get messed up when they bring em up north...your fine having one if you live in Arizona or other lower states that aren't also humid...and you never get ripped off by them:)

  • well , saw epiphones, fenders (or maybe squiers), jacksons... and gibsons

  • I´ve always thought it´s a racist statement to say that USA guitars are better than those build in any other country just because they are made in the USA. We are all human beings and these people can make the same guitars as any US citizen. The real question is why they receive a fraction of the payment. In Mexico, there´s a little town called Paracho, dedicated since the XVII century to the manufactaring of guitars. They are the best acoustic guits in the world, seroiusly.

  • @hungerstriker27

In fact, people that know this, foreigners from all over the world, mostly europeans visit paracho to buy a real mexican paracho guitar, cause they are truly better even than the hand crafted spanish guitars. And better than the big brand names, I´m talking of spanish guitars, like the one would play andres segovia. They are poor people, considering the standards of the US, but it´s a job carried from one generation to another for ages, and it´ss a pride

  • Dollar an hour, sure.

More like a bag of rice for a days work.

    Labor of pain, not love.

I don't want uneducated women and children making my guitars...

    This video is despicable!

  • 5;16 till the end... the guy is trying to sell his heart out.

  • DOUBLE CUTAWAY!! WOAHAOAOAHA!!!

  • epi'z and gibsons aren't made in cali!, epi's in china and korea, gibsons in nashvill tenn

  • have a bomb drop on the plant

  • NEVER put a Humbucker in a Strat

  • @PeteAndJakee tom delonge did. and he's a beast

  • For being made in china alot of hands on work goes into does guitars. You don't see a CNC machine any where

  • @chingon501 just goes to show when the big boys say dont buy ur guitars from china they r just trying to keep the business to them selves.. the chinese are more hands on so to me its a better built guitar

  • are you joking, don't ya???... i imagine the cows in the factory.. zero love

  • @twinsmm1 Don't worry, Epiphones and Gibson guitars are made in Cali

  • @antitobaccopsa no epiphone has most of there guitars made in china

  • @cobraopts7, i geuss thats why their cheaper , plus made with cheaper parts xD

  • @cobraopts7 *their

  • People might be judging the guys in these videos but they make good products and they work damn hard for no money. I'd rather have a guitar made here than pay 20 times the price for a guitar made by lazy Americans.

  • @TUUK2006 totalmente de acuerde amigo los americanos dejaron de hacer productos de buena calidad

  • @TUUK2006

    well said

  • YOU SEE REAL PRS GUITAR IN CHINA GUITAR FACTORY THUMB UP!!!

    O.o

  • slave labor for peanuts.then add to americas deficet.what is going on people?

whatta shame.no thanks.i WILL buy american made.i will probably, not definetly

    pay a pretty penny.

  • Among many other problems, the floor is soooo damn dirty. Where's the janitorial staff, in the spray corner?

  • They are making guitars, where is the love?

  • @xxLOLface The love is in the people who have a free market to listen to rock music, thereby loving it enough to do it better. And it's love that pays you a salary, not a low low wage.

  • @xxLOLface

No dude. The real quesion is... they are making the same guitars than in the USA. so, where is the same payment? That´s the oimportant question.

  • @xxLOLface

I mean, it´s a third world factory.... would you be plenty of joy working for peanuts 12 hours a day, sometimes 7 days of the week? BTW.... it´s not supposed that gibson guitars are made in USA? cause those were les pauls, andepiphone has also the license to do the real design of the les paul but that was a gibson headstock

  • @xxLOLface Is a job.

  • @xxLOLface That's $1200. extra.

  • most of the Ibanez guitars are made in Japan

  • @guitardude671 yeah, but japan is regarded good quality. This is China.

  • @eldrickenji Yes basswood exists. It is used for guitar bodies all the time. Most of the Ibanez Satriani models are basswood. It is very light but has good resonance. It's quite soft though so it doesn't hold screws well so watch your strap pins. It is pronounced baas wood like the fish.

  • @roost24 Get your head out of your ass. If you're so afraid of socialism, I guess you will be giving up your military, public schools, libraries, roads, etc. Educate yourself. And most importantly, STEP AWAY FROM THE GLENN BECK!

  • @crabspasm Funny I think dumb fucking Liberals like yourself are the only ones that watch him. You ignorant Government pets have a crush on him.

  • @roost24 So no comment on the rest of my reply then? BTW I am Canadian and here we actually have a law that is part of the CRTC (our version of your FCC) that forbids licensees from broadcasting "false or misleading news" and this law means Fox 'News' cannot even be aired in Canada. Look it up. And another thing, Obama doesn't own banks and car companies. You do. You payed for them. Your country elected him. So go tea bag Reagan some more. He's dead. His balls could use the moisture.

  • @TheF86Sabre Do you know why a Gibson Les Paul Standard is $3500? Because Gibson knows you will pay it. Most guitar players are so lost in hero worship they think the only good guitars are Gibson and Fender but do you know why all the sixties guitar heroes played Gibson and Fender? Because there wasn't anything else. Now go look at a Godin guitar some time. Godin can make a guitar in Quebec that sells for $350 and the quality is absolutely equal to or better than your beloved Gibson and Fender.

  • @crabspasm I also own a Godin, but I paid more than $350. So I am not sure which guitar you are talking about. The quality of the Godin, imo is much better than Fender. I don't think that their cheaper models compare to Gibson though. And they don't go for $3500, that is just the suggested price. They are closer to $2400, and I am sorry but that is what quality costs.

  • @TheF86Sabre I have run a guitar store for the last 20 years and I've hand built about 55 custom guitars and basses for customers. I sell (in Canada) the Godin SD w/gig bag for $355.99 Canadian and at the Gibson dealer up the street from me sells the LP Standard for around $3500. Even if it was $2400, it would still be seriously overpriced. I sell the Godin Icon 2 for $1150 and it totally out does a Standard. It has a mahogany body, set neck, ebony board, US Duncans and flawless build quality.

  • @crabspasm sure you guys wouldnt rank on slash for having a fake gibson now would you?

  • @MichaelLozano12 i know that he does own one! i cant remember where i saw the video but he does say that he owns a copy, from the mans mouth himself!

  • @MusicToMyEars36 Exactly. People swear that MADE IN AMERICA and thousands of dollars spent on a guitar means its the best. I spent 250 o an ibanez JEM a while back and its fantastic. Its probably not as great as the real one, im sure its not nearly that quality. But why would i pay an extra 2000? All i did was swap out the pickups to some GFS pickups and the guitar is amazing. Ill post a demo of it sometime to show the quality. But ya, people dont realise how much theyre getting ripped off...

  • @MichaelLozano12 the only problem with overseas guitars is the electronics seem to be of low quality.. but if you can diy then thats no problem!!. i bought a custom agile intrepid thats a 6 string (usually 7, 8 or 9) for 800 shipped from the u.s to australia and my friends that play aswell love it!! only thing i dont like is the frets but its no big deal im refretting it myself. the guitar is hand made in south korea. people need to start learning from experience and not from other peoples mouth

  • @MusicToMyEars36 Exactly. Im not gonna say "Its only 250, what do you have to lose?" Cause now 250 is allot of money. If you have a job and can afford to try one out and are pretty handy and might want to have a fun project guitar, these are PERFECT.

  • @MichaelLozano12 you're absolutely right, money is money, its hard earned so everyone has to spend wisely.. but its not wise when people fork out 3.5k for a gibby when theoretically you are really paying say 1k for the guitar, 1k for the name and 1.5k to cover their marketing expenses. lol. good theory huh?

  • @MusicToMyEars36 As wrong as it is, all these companies are really smart for doing what they do. I will probably never buy a new guitar again, and definately nothing like a gibson or a fender, id rather get one of these and make it into a project =)

  • @chrisiztheman1618 While a few of these companies have guitars imported from China and Korea, it is mainly the sister companies. Squier, ESP LTD (not ESP), Epiphone, etc... If you ever see a "Chinese made Gibson" for what ever reason it's a fake. And while some companies do outsource their stuff from China/Korea they certainly don't have them outsourced from one factory. Do some research before arguing.

  • @ohnoezheadasplode yepp, youre right, of course we all no that there have been fakes produced..especially from gibson

  • not everything made in china sux.. ^^some of e'm are awesome..

  • where in China is located this factory?

  • 5:49 cut it down you are talking too much

  • its good work for a buck an hour !

  • @1973mazdarx4coupe A Buck an hour - more like a buck a day !

  • I plan on buying guitars from China and saleing them to all you Americans. Ha Ha Ha. Hurray Capitalism!!!!!

  • @0181080 As he yells from the roof of his shanty shack, sporting his best pair tire tread home made sandals.

  • @TheF86Sabre Can you tell the difference between real boobies and fake ones? Then you wont here either. LOL

  • @0181080 If you can't tell the difference between fake tits and real tits, you haven't had many in your hands. Then guitars are not your real problem !

  • @TheF86Sabre Stupid

  • Yamaha guitars are made in China. The difference is that Yamaha actually owns the manufacturing facility there - they don't simply sub-contract their product out to the lowest bidder like the big-name electric-guitar manufacturers do with their "budget-priced" lines.

  • This really makes me sad and angry! I used to admire Fender so much but I hate to see such an incredible display of injustice! Hey Fender executives: these are people!!! don't you fucking care! or do you just care a bout profits?

  • @alexmejia26 dude these arn't fenders.. fender are u.s made their most likely squiers, fenders "cheaper" brand

  • @MusicToMyEars36 There are Mexican Fenders too but I guess you did not get the point. I am not questioning the brand (note that Squire is a division of Fender); I am talking about the working conditions.

  • @alexmejia26 im guessing this video made you change your mind about fender thus y i said these aren't fenders but it still does relate to them although its not just them. anyhow i dont really see how the conditions are "bad" any small luthier has similar conditions, if anything the chinese have better, vacuums everywhere etc, my point is why does every owner of a gibby, fender, etc defend their selves by saying such things just because these guitars play just as good or sometimes better?

  • I was interested to compare this "finest guitar factory" in China with the Fender plant that you can see in their 1959 plant tour video. While the buildings are similarly old, the China plant is a disorganized mess and the workers show no such joy in what they are doing. It's scary to realize so much of our stuff comes from factories like this. I'm glad to hear Fender has nothing to do with this place.

  • @TConservatories Fender Squiers are made in China.

  • @TConservatories You know Squiers are made in China, right?

  • @TConservatories

well, they no receive the same payment like the fender guys... that´s the real tragedy

  • @TConservatories If you read the video description that Rino88dotcom put up it states that this factory produces Fender guitars. And my acoustic Fender was made in China so yes Fender does have something to do with this factory.

  • These workers need respirator and other safety equipment or they will die very young.

  • @pezman1963 The assholes running these plants don't care who fucking dies, as long as they can pad their bank accounts.

  • i love it when he goes: 'may-pull? ma-hog-ganey?" if he speaks words slowly enough, the Chinese can understand what he's saying.

  • Our fearless narrator doesn't know jack about manufacturing. If the description for this video is to be believed then Fender, Ibanez, Gibson, BC Rich, and esp all have guitars manufactured in this shit hole factory. At least I know that my Taylor electric is US made. My Wechter acoustic is Chinese made. Not that I really care WHERE they are made so much as HOW they are made (as well as how safe the people that are making them).

This factory fails miserably in both quality and worker-safety.

  • BOYCOTT China!! Their currency manipulation was one of the MAJOR causes of the U.S.A.'s economic meltdown. DON'T take my word for it; look it up for yourselves!!!

Also, I've never seen an instrument from China in which the wood was properly dried...junk, junk, junk.

  • @floppier It's impossible to boycott china. I bet half of the things you own and/or use daily was made in China. Probably even the computer you're using right now...or at least its electronic components inside. And check your clothes & shoes too, probably made in China. American guitars, amps, cars, etc. have steel & electronics from China. As far as their wood being "junk", I've seen some really well made Chinese instruments. They've been building them WAY longer than the Western world.
