If you define hate as wanting his utter destruction and not praying for his redemption, I agree with you. But if finding his endorsement of infanticide and homosexual marriage evil, and labeling it as such, is what you call hatred, I disagree strongly.
He's taken on the messiah role himself, and in doing so, he's twisted God's holy word. He should be held accountable for this. Paul warns of wolves (Acts 20:29) and dogs (Phl 3:2), words that seem uncharitable, but true and necessary.
Are we one to judge this brother? How can you not pray for his salvation. Isn't he still the image of God? Isn't he still a holy loved child of God?
