Baba Giving Darshan ~ The Miracle Mantra

After chanting this once and doing the sun/moon meditation, I received a call from a man who I'd dated the previous year; He had finished with me 6 months ago but wanted us to get back together. At the time I yearned to have him call me but now I'm feeling a little detached. Be careful, this mantra works, and what you may have yearned for at one time, might end up being a burden if you actually get it! Oh, I also received a lovely call from a friend who I had fallen out with!

I think the point was that we here in America, are hearing a foreign language.

As seekers we come across Baba and find truth in the teachings. As we try to participate with the mantra's we find ourselves at a distinct disadvantage not knowing the language. The mantra is not spelled out for us to chant, and it sure would be helpful to us newer seekers to know what the words mean in English.

If I get it stuck in my head fist thing in the am it will usually stay most of the day. To obtain a photo of Baba, I usually go to someplace where there is one and "right click" on the photo and then hit "copy" and save it on my computer. Try that and see if it works. You may even be able to do it with one of the photos in YouTube - not sure.

Darshan does not mean "hug". Darshan is a direct transmission of Light from the Guru. Other ways that darshan is given is through the Guru's eyes - if you catch His/Her gaze - even for an instant. Through the holding up of a hand (such as in the photo with this video) and the Light streams from the hand to whomever is in the room.I have never seen Baba giving darshan by hugging people.

I believe these numbers - 9, 27, 54, 108, 1008 are indeed very auspicious. So, to "vary" would be to move away from the auspiciousness. These numbers carry a power all their own. They have been used for thousands and thousands of years by yogis. I would stick to what works!

The word "Namaste" means: "I bow to that inherent in you" ~ "that" refers to divinity, or that which is Divine!

OR

another way of saying it would be, "I respect the Divine within you that is also within me."

OR

yet another way of saying it would be, " The Light within me honors the Light within you."

This greeting is accompanied by putting 2 hands together in prayer gesture and saying "Namaste", bowing slightly towards the person they are addressing.

1st line - refers to a type of Siddha Master who can do the impossible - miracles

2nd line - refers to royalty or wealth consciousness

3rd line - refers to a mountain called "Arunachale" in India -- it is said to be where Lord Shiva resides - and Shiva's chant "namasivaya"

4th line - Datttreya Siva Baba - my Guru - whose name is very powerful in manifesting miracles

I've got a question:in this video the ending(after the word namasivaya) is different from the ending in "miracle mantra-part 2" video.Here they chant ...Siva Baba swaha, and in the other...Om Dattatreya Siva Baba namaha. Which one is correct for japa chanting? I've heard that after the age 28, we should use swaha instead of namaha. Thank you for your time. Namasivaya!

From my own personal experience, I have heard both used. I have mostly heard "swaha" used during homas (fire rituals), and each time the word swaha is used, more ghee is poured upon the fire. My Guru never mentioned anything about the age of 28 being the age that we should use swaha instead of namaha. I feel for certain that if this were of major importance then He would have let us know.

Thank you! I was driving home the other day, listening to "Songs of Light" in my car. It is a CD that was created with myself singing and playing harmonium, along with many of my spiritual friends in a professional music studio. I thought to myself, "wow...I wonder if I could find a way to put these professional versions of the CD on YouTube....and then I figured it out and....there you have it!

Do you have any advice?what meditations work for you.I have spent more time than ever before meditating.I love them! It has taken me a long time to find this.

With regard to which meditations - this is truly highly individual and I think it would be good for you to look into your own heart and see what it is that you want to create in your life and then decide which chants would work for you! What works for me may not work for you!
