@vlcm12 - Good luck getting to the 1%, which is the issue for many of the protesters. The proverbial deck is stacked and those in the top strata control everything. Voting for one party or the other no longer accomplishes anything, as both parties are on the dole of the same corporations. No matter who controls the Congress, nothing changes, which is why the protesters are taking to the streets. Nothing else has changed anything, so they are to the point where this is all that is left.

Credit unions are usually member owned and operated, and I believe they are non-profit, but don't quote me on that. From my experience, credit unions offer better rates, provide more member-focused service and do not charge as many fees for credit card and ATM transactions. I recommend that you look up the Wikipedia article on credit unions and then examine the options in your local community. Peace

Many police officers are represented by unions, so I have to believe that they could refuse to comply what many feel are unlawful orders. Most police officers are not bad people, and they have bills, children and don't make a lot of money. They have a difficult job, and most want to make a difference, but a few are needlessly violent.
