@adislavchev --Yes, this is paintball. All of the footage was from Oklahoma D-Day, the World's largest paintball game. Some years have seen more than 4,000 paintball players from around the world (we've had participants from 21 different countries in some years). It's an amazing experience and a must for any paintballer. Hope to see you there some year.

Yes-Simply Google "OK D-Day", head to the first page, then look for "Upcoming events"

Each of the units you can join has detailed information, simply click on the " to find out the unit's Orders, Primary Objectives and Secondary Objectives.

I strongly encourage you to consider the British 6th Airborne or any of the other Commonwealth force units. I have been a member of the 6th airborne for four years and love it. The men in maroon shirts throughout the video are Commonwealth.

I kept hearing explosions ( 1:01 ) but because I never saw them I had no idea they were so big.

Yeah, as part of the Commonwealth, I have never actually seen the opening the explosions in person, so it was great to see them on video at least. Maybe this year I'll try to convince my unit to be in position to see those monsters go off.

Check out OK D-Day's forum on their website (just Google "Oklahoma D-Day" and it should take you right there) and then you can find out more about the units. If the 1st Inf. or 101st is your bag, then they have all of the contact information to get you plugged into the unit. Good luck and hope to see you there this June!

@ NOtoMcain & punkpanter80: The best unit for the Allied forces would be the 101st Airborne specifically the 506th regiment, I have been to OK D'day since '06. It depends on what you want as an experience but so far the 101 has been the best. We focus on mobile heavy combat. I am a Sergeant of Company E in the 506th Para Reg. of the 101st Airborne. But different units do different jobs i.e. 1st and 4th hit beaches. But for heavy fighting all day Its "Currahee" all the way.

Yes, the footage you saw in the video is from the night game. It takes place the Thursday night (starting around 9:30 and going to midnight). Since the combat is in such close quarters (2,000 people attacking/defending only one city--Colleville--) the units do not matter as much as the objectives merely become buidlings instead of cities. In the dark, with overhead night flares and artillary exploding, you'll soon lose your unit anyway-go and have fun.

@canadianrule--We actually have a Canadian unit that is part of the Commonwealth forces, the First Canadian Paratroopers. The Unit members are all Canucks and they drive down together. Check out the Forums at the D-Day website and you may be able to hitch a ride down with them. It's great unit, they see a ton of action and they have some awesome guys leading it. Hope to see you down in Oklahoma this June.

We had 14 Aussies and 8 Kiwis as part of our unit (British Commonwealth) last year, it blows my mind that you guys come from so far away (24 hours of flying). Hope to see you there sir.
