How I get the sound? I import the music into Cubase and then record the drums on a separate audio track. Finally, I use the mixer to adjust the volume of the music and drums, although it sounds a little different once it gets processed by the Youtube server (after uploading).

This video is the best one I have done. I am not perfectionist, so some of my other clips may contain errors and untight sections.

In this particular video, I kept it down to earth because the song seems to require that.

Besides, I love to play and have been unable to play for around a year, so I bought a TD-12 about a month ago to get back in shape and to have something to practice on at home without scaring the neighbors.

When I get the time, I will go check out your clips.

Stu, there are better drummers than I, technically speaking.

I don't feel "better" than anyone else, but I also do not the feel the opposite. I believe in drumming the way the song tells me to drum.

While I may not be better than anyone, I DO know I am different because I get that all the time. I think it is because I try to be on the same page as all the other instruments in the band and play accordingly.

"Drumming theory" is secondary to me, yet very important. Music is love.
