04's have the best body, I got a 04 dx sedan, its lowed an inch and a half, and I have nice set of b series tires, their really stylish cars, built to last forever and enjoyable to drive. I think the 04 civic look so much better then the 02/03 model

@Totluvr the front bumper from a 04 or 05 would look nice and its cheaper than a custom it has a slightly more aggressive look than the 02 and separate slots for the fogs really makes a different. also a drop is almost necessary in my opinion thats when it changes the whole stance and look of the car.
why do I enjoy driving this car than the 8th gen Civics? Although the 8th gen Civic has more power. I'm thinking its probably the whole Electronic power steering versus the Hydraulic Power steering issue, the old hydraulic just feels natural and conected than any EPS out there.

Underrated but the future starts in 2001, the 7th Generation and I have one. Still do after the FUCKING accident which I totally regret and wished never happened. @MrGizm0420 the d17 engine is really bad with mods, the only thing you can really do is forged internals or turbo. But if you turbo is i suggest you dont push more than seven pounds of boost
i noticed the civic thats 24 seconds in has cut out some of the centre of the bumper, i bought grill insert for my 05 civic and want to do the same so its not noticeable behind it, is there any problems with cutting it out? does it loose some of it strength? will it sag? i appreciate any help with this, thank you

Ok the 7th gen trims go as follows: EX-SE (04-05): sunroof, 15" 15 spoke wheels, 6 disc cd changer with an equalizer and auxilary input, abs, and power windows; Lx-SE (04-05) is the same as the EX-SE minus the sunroof and possibly the abs. Standard EX and LX power everything as the SE trims, 15" 5 spoke alloys rims, no abs, for LX no sunroof. DX, HX, and VP are all pretty much the same, manual windows, no abs, no sunroof, possibly no a/c, 12 less hp and some less torque, hubcaps instead of allys
EX is fully powered. i.e power windows, power steering. DX is basically manual. It has cranks to open and close windows. No power for DX. HX I think is the same as a DX. LX is one step down from EX. LX has power windows but no power steering. Hoped that helped.
DX and HX, the driver has all the power. But they really don't have any power, they have to crank their windows too. EX passangers can control the windows. LX only the driver and passanger get power windows. Not the back seats.
EX. If you buy any kind of Honda or Acura that is an EX I can almost guarentee you all of them have either a DOHC or VTEC engine. Which you can look that up on Wikipedia. I am not good at explaining them.

i bought it wtih high mileage i think the previous owner abused it. i take good care of it i babied it and put alot of time and money into it but it runs fine now that i put a new d17 in it plus i had a chance to paint everything under the hood makes alot of difference. looks cleaner. i just want more power but hte turbo kits made for d17s arent the greatest.
not true i have one i replaced the motor at 125 000 k cause the head gasket went. tranny is slipping too. once i have more money im ripping it out and putting in a k20 with the tiptronic tranny fuck d17s they suck lol

No you want 2000 and under these cars are slow as balls I know because I own one and there is almost no aftermarket support. You have to options for power boost or K swap.

I did a few simple mods and sold it for what I payed for it

we just bake the headlights at a low temp, crack them open. I get new silicone after painting them and seal them back up
