  • Some shit getting written about gears on this video. Some of you cunts should do your homework. Gears DON`T make your car slower and your speedo can be corrected.

  • sorry to inform all of you that see this. on sept 3 2008 i tried to commit suicide. i lost my wife and kids. my mustang took a tree over 150mph. iwas in a comma for 2 weeks. you can shift my car from the back seat. i damn near cut it into 2. when they said FORD TUFF they were not lying. the car is a total loss.since this video i put over 12k into mods. i ran a 9.97 @ 152mph @ P.I.R. in Pa. remember something. for all of you corvett people. if you have a big dick, you dont need a corvett!

  • Damn my 3.27 car falls flat on it's face at 135mph. I think 4.10s help your upper top end

  • I think the tune helps more than anything. 150+ with 4.10s no problem with an SCT tune that removes the speed limiter. Top end is limited by wind drag and rpms only at this point. For what it's worth, I have seen a Mark VIII do 154 mph down the freeway with 4.10 gears. With that said, a Mustang should also have no problem hitting that mark.

  • I have hit 151 before. I know I have no limiter. I got a custom dyno tune and have some good numbers (268/310) So with some better gears maybe 160...who knows.

  • @nevermissclancom just saw your message. 151mph. you should have hit higher. check your air to fuel ratio. when i was some what stock my # were 300/415 @ 4700rpms. lighten your rotating mass. flywheel, drive shaft. trust me this will help. if you can afford to go titainium do it. grade 6AL 2.5Van is the way to go.~ 5 times lighter than carbon steel and 10 times stronger. watch where you put the stuff. your car needs to flex alittle.

  • @DRJGOMEZ2000 300/415? No way man. Is yours a 3v? Mine is a 2001. 268whp and 310tq is very high for a bolt on 2v. I plan on getting an aluminum driveshaft and underdrive pullies soon. I have 3.73's now.

  • @nevermissclancom why the fuck do you need to do 160 if your a fast n furious street racer. you not hitting anywhere near that with 268whp in a 1/4 so you obviously do it on the road. Once you wreck you will realize just how stupid you are

  • was the last gear 5th or over drive... it seemed like a large drop in rpms..

  • i think the fifth is overdrive

  • it is, my fifth gear is horrible... the rpms drop a good 2500 from fourth to fifth

  • 5th is a mustang GTs overdrive gear :)

  • yeah, 4.10's make a big improvement in acceleration. and the top speed is still 158 mph (i think) but that is maxing the rpms.
