it's just a sloppy cadence and DEFINITELY not something i would have used in a "battle"

It was...ehhh... throwing down a bass groove makes it a crowd pleaser, but, to other drummers with a clue, it wasn't all that good. Rolls wern't really there, and there was A LOT of rim on tenor, or something.
