Can't ever get excited about a thin layer of destructible stuff on top of normal, invincible walls.
Looks like Frostbite is close to being real destructibility, but if would be far better if it was altered so it isn't just "this square of the wall blows out because you shot in the general area of this square."
@Spo8 You can program it to where it is fully destrcutable. Frostbites physics are really weak, pre-scripted particle effects that, like you said, explode in certain areas of the wall, is not any where near as good as what PhysX can do.
That´s very nice indeed this is just an optical illusion and has no gameplay influences . Because there are still these indestructible walls behind the destructible parts. Sry for my english
cool! good for five days! for all the people calling this stupid, why don't u try making ur own! bet u won't even know how to make a brick for this program!
This would be really good for a WW2 game where there are tanks driving through the street blasting holes in houses.

@KittenKiller not ww2 but BF:BC2 :)
Schadenmaster 8 months ago in playlist NVIDIA PhysX
nice, but the debris falls a little too slowly
then again, this could have been made on a smaller planet

Great work, now make the walls like that

The explosions looks like they do as much damage and movement as a baby farting in a bunch of loose foam bricks.

@Nanogrip
really. at least make the gibs fly in every direction, not just slowly crumble away.
ITS A GODDAMN EXPLOSION

@thefloop check out some of the demo vids on youtube, I'm glad to see that this time it doesn't make the shots look over powered.

A question.
I don't understand the different series's,
Is 8 the worst series, then 9 series cards are better, then 100 series cards are better than 9, then 200 series cards are awesome?

take 100 as 10000

READ DISCRIPTION cuz its made in 5 days only
and there's ppl saying this sucks ...but in 5 days

it would be cool if they could the pieces/debris be thrown around more by the power of the explosion.
Now it looks a bit 'boring' because it looks more like a crumbling wall instead of an exploding one.

now they need to work on the sound effects and floaty-ness of the blocks :)

you get it for free so STFU
applejackfart 2 years ago
are you blind? it's clear that physics is unreal...explosions without any foam that skip..but only bricks that fall...
at the end which would be the meaning of STFU ?
Gurzo2006 2 years ago
physx only works on bricks in this case.
what is the meaning of 'foam that skip" anyway?
don't mind the "stfu" its bad language :(
applejackfart 2 years ago
i'm sorry for may bad english...
foam that skip= pieces of wall that flies away...
i don't see nothing of amazing( like said by others) in this video..nothing of not see in others games
brick that fall...the strength of the explosion of the rocket where it is?
however i've asked the meaning of STFU because i really don't kwon its meaning :)
it's an acronym?
