I have listened to this song several times tonight. I whoe heartedly agree with the keeping the accent. Most artists get rid of their accent believing it will hold them back but much to the contrary.

As soon as that "you are my sunshine" bit comes on my guts are wrentching, awesomely done and extremely powerful.
