I played Project Reality: very cool! But like almost every mod, the problem is the small community.

I'm not a soldier, i'm not a weapons expert, but i can say that an ah64 attack is a very different thing. A good example, imho, of an air attack in a videogame, is the AC-130 Spooky mission in cod4.

@RetiefGoosen If this looks like "shite" to you then I suggest you get an HD compatible card and monitor because this looks spectacular on my screen. The only issue I see is with the blurriness of the footage, which is a repercussion that we all have to deal with by using Youtube as a medium.

Both modes will be great in their own right, but it makes no sense to compare MP to SP; that's like comparing intricacies of two different sports, such as golf and football because they both use a ball.

And yes, SP and MP should be that different because they're not played with the same purpose in mind. SP is about one player taking on all odds within the confines of a story. MP is pitting player teams against one another while allowing them to take whatever actions they see fit within the confines of whatever predetermined rule-set there may be, but it tends to be much more dynamic.

Also, MP was made on DICE's Frostbite engine because it's been used for that purpose before-- has worked well in the past. Unreal Engine works best with SP because there's usually more detail , which can be afforded by the team because there's more polygon count and less going on throughout the map--all with 1 person. So you see there's a great deal of contrast between the two modes and the devs are simply utilizing what fits best under each circumstance. People are blowing it out of proportion

@hesitation24 I was actually thinking the same thing. I'm no graphics whore, but the explosions and some of the other stuff don't look that polished to be honest. Even the tracers from the 20 mm cannon don't look good either.

There seem to be a ton of graphical hiccups that they better polish out, both in SP and MP (white attachments anyone). On something like the Wii I could understand it, but on an HD console or the PC it's really inexcusable.
