Mr O'Reilly spoke of the hateful comments that Professor Watkins made towards veteran reporter Juan Williams (calling him a "happy negro") and the false acceration that right-wingers murdered Malcolm X.

I see that Mr. Olbermann failed to mention the hatred and lies that Professor Watkins pollutes Syracuse University with. Olbermann cares not for journalistic integrity or even respect for the First Amendment. He is a ratings hog who will say anything and do anything to be noticed. Sickening.

Amazing that guys like Bill can get jobs in the media in the US. I know of no European country where similar statements and discussional behavior is accepted. When someone like Bill says something similar in Europe, there will be about a week of ridicule and outrage - and then the guy gets fired for good.

And most television is state owned in European countries. Here in the US, (not in Germany) we go with the "free market" theory, and figure that if the show/host is not attracting viewers, it will get cancelled.

BTW, in this clip Olbermann attacked an entire political party. Would that be accepted in Europe? All O'Reilly did was go after an individual.

Even though our current administration is doing its best to crap all over our Constitution there is a thing called free sheach and freedom of the press. Hat Bill or Keith either one for what they say, but they have a right to be out there. The great thing about the USA is that even if we have a retard for a president... it is only for 8 years maximum. Hate to know what a lifetime under a King or Queen would feel like.
