Came on here cuz I miss my Xbox & games so much. (hit some bad times so couldnt afford 2 replace after 2nd console got 3 Red Rings)
This music is so embedded in my soul after playing this game!. Kaims memories and the music during cut scenes-HAUNTING!
However, the game should have been named LOST SLEEP - I have never put so many hours into a game and yet when I got to end I was STILL SAD IT WAS OVER!!
They say could be done in 60-70 hours. :) Not even close but LOVED every minute!
this game is amazing. One of Kaim's memories (hanna's departure) is being loosely adapted into a short film by me. God this game is deep and so moving
I bought this game when it first came out, and loved it so muh I leant it to a friend, saying "You HAVE to play this game!" Now, 4 years later, I finally got it back off him, and I'm playing it again.
People were jealous and also ignorant of the fact that the creators behind this game were the original creators behind the FF series and made that series what it was until Enix came along and ruined it. The latest FF games are all flash and no substance. LO easily gets my vote for best JRPG so far this gen.
Would you rather live forever and see the ones you care for die in front of you or would you rather live a limited life span, not knowing when or how it will end?
Ah Kaim's memories, boy were they touching, most of them made me cry. When I'm depressed or just want to listen to depressing/sad music, I always listen to this song.
The fact that people can point to this game and say "I had an emotional response" is enough to show how well it was made. With it's blend of serious and emotional moments offset by the funny parts always placed in at the right times, makes this game one of the best ones i have played.
I got to the last disc on this game in my first play through, but ended up not finishing it. Easily one of the saddest games I've played, especially the thousand years of dreams. The music and story in this game is amazing.
Really thinking about starting over. Time to spend hours sitting in the world map again.
@TheTempoChanger your right, i was dissapointed by the game when i started, the characters looked weird, but after complaeting the first disc am really surprised how great the story is. Final fatasy dissapinted alot lately so it was great playing this gamen
Ooh, I'm in the boat with you there. When I first got Lost Odyssey and put it in my xbox, I quit pretty much after the Wohl Highlands, thinking it was horrid. Months later I decided to try and get into it again with more effort this time, and I'm really glad that I did =).
@TheTempoChanger i did exactly the same thing. am glad i tried the game again, its not as addicting as the final fantasy games but the story is very good. To bad the dreams are not cut scenes
I'm glad to know that there are still such mature gamers out there instead of these ignorance kids who always hit the dislike button just because no one did. Lost Odyssey is the best underrated game for the 360.
Me too man, i couldnt help it any longer, such a climatic end to the game! seriously a fantastic fantasy rpg after a long long time.....god bless nobuo, the best composer i know!
@turgore Maybe some confusion there. Is this not the music that plays when Lirum dies? Though Seth's disappearance as the end of the game was quite wrenching as well. One of my favourite characters from the game, she was.

I really want to read the dream book released in Japan. I mean, I already read them in the game, but...damn, they're so worthwhile.

Why is it that music like this finds a way to touch the soul all the time. And if you dont have a soul it gives you one just so it can touch it ?

If it weren't for Jansen this would be one depressing game. Still an amazing game.

Reading Kaim's memories was one of the most saddening yet moving things I've ever done.
The Japanese know how to do emotion. Better than anybody ever.
