  • STUNNING! Listening to all those Iraqi, Turkish, Khaliji & Syrian players never satisfied me. Ive been searching for Egyptian oud tuning & Egyptian oud players in the hope i can find a piece of music that brings me back to where I belong and never thought i'm gonna find such a touching performance posted by a young man who is actually not in Egypt!

I can even smell the flavor of that ancient magical Egyptian spirit everytime i listen to ur play. U got the talent, wish u the best in ur life : )

  • Wow, thank you so much! I am very flattered by your comment...actually, I'm Egyptian born and raised, but I don't live there anymore...hopefully i will post more taqaseem/improvisations with much better quality & improved playing. I have always preferred tarab & melodical expression over fast techniques of the Turkish & Iraqi oud players :)

  • The countries dont make musicians, the player makes the music in different flavours, regardless of where they came from! When it comes to music, there should be no nationality and no boundaries, it is just a matter of a different taste when any players play!

  • eeh dah eeh dah eeh dah!! BRAVO BRAVO BRAVOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Keep practicing, i really think we have a big Egyptian musical talent here...very proud of you man!

  • جميل أخي بالتوفيق
