  • i have done the leash and it work.look at my video please

  • I love this guy!

  • venus's turns are so crisp and precise she looks almost like one of those remote-controlled cars!

  • WOW, like hard

  • I have a 6 month old Ausseie mix,and he loves to play fetch and frisbie at home, but as soon as I take him to the park he is scared to play. I would really like to do disc freestyle comps with him when we are both older, but I have no clue how to get him out of this fear. Note I am only 14 and he is the first dog I have attempted to do these hinds of things with.

  • can u make a vid about how to get ur dog to stand on your feet (while u r lying on ur back with ur feet in the air) and beg to catch frisbee's at the same time i have seen u do this in a few vids like 'amazing frizbee dogs' and really want to know how its taught.

  • Really cool trick, my border Troya loves it! Me as well, ofc. Thanks for the vids!

  • Really cool trick and thanks zak for the vid

  • Nice vid again Zak! Could u maybe make some vid about the bal thing @ 1:28 when he hits it with his head? I've been trying it forever but can't do it. Sorry for bad english by the way, I'm from Holland.

  • Hello Zak...

I have a Labrador retriver and as i was seeing the video i notced that you Venus know how to punch a ball with her nose on the air, How can i teach that to my dog?

  • look at 1:30 lol !!!

  • how to get your dog to header the ball back too you

  • my dog will spin and go through my legs forward, but when I try to teach her backup by using something she likes or walking towards her she just turns around to go the same direction as me, any ideas???

  • can u do a vid on teaching pitbulls to attack?

  • nice cattle dog

  • OMG. I love the trick. I started teaching my Westie male to weave in between my legs, and let me tell you, he was nowhere near as enthusiastic as your dog in the video. Guess I'll go back to training that weaving and hope you have a YouTube about getting one's dog enthusiastic (or even interested) in a particular trick.

  • what kind of dog is venus?

  • @blueroans4567 Border Collie in tri color they come in many different coats

  • @blueroans4567 Border Collie. #1 ranked for intelligence.. haha get one, it's super fun to work with a border collie plus they are so adorable

  • @ukaisukaok I have a bordercollie. They are AMAZING

  • you have very affecting methods :d

  • 1:03 is that a blue heeler? im trying to train my dog but he is way to hyper we got to shake, sit, spin, lay down, role over, stay, and im trying to teach him to walk beside me on a leash right now

  • does it matter if my dog is dead, or can I still teach him?

  • @RageGamesTV What I would like you to do is, click on your login name in the top right corner, click settings. Then click manage account. After that click close account. Thank you.

  • i have a question does it matter that my dog is 5 years old or can i still teach her tricks

  • Awesome video as always!!!

  • How do u make yor dog hit the soccer ball

  • I would want to know how to teach a stubborn dog.

  • How did you train your dog to "scootch" (spin and back up) when he was behind you?

  • Very good video, thank you!

  • Nice! your dog is almost as good at learning tricks as your mom is learning them in the bedroom!

  • wow that lady looks like my mom

  • My border collie becomes so intense with the frisbee/ball/toy anytime it is brought out! What would you recommend for decreasing his intensity? He starts barking and will play for hours, to the point where I have to stop the game and hide his frisbee.

  • i love your videos!!!! missing my dog too much now

  • @jenacbxx wat hppn to ur dog..

  • @ankit866 simply we needed to leave him too often alone in the garden because of job, and we prefered to gift him to a man that is giving him the love and time that he deserve :( life sucks

  • that's the coolest thing I've seen so far! But how do you get the dog to do the spin, backup once it already is behind you? I noticed your dog does it without you telling it to, as part of the whole trick :)

  • impressive

  • Great spins and backups!!! Thank you for sharing tips, tricks, work, and this amazing videos.

  • That is a beautiful dog. I have 2 questions. Is it a Border Collie or an Australian Shepard? And is it a black and white or a really high black Merle? And I love the tri-color on the face.

  • @Joecoolbrew This guy is an expert in the Dogs 101 series. As for their Border Collie serie he is a big fan of BC so I expect so it's a BC. :)

  • @Joecoolbrew yeah it is a border collie and a the color is black tri.

  • Coollllllll!

  • excelenteeeeeeeeee !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • how did you leatn your dog to punch the ball

  • sweet :)

  • You gouys have nice digs.... my dogs an ass hole ...

  • nice vids, keep em coming

  • collies can learn anything.....and are desperate to be `doing` things rather sit at home

  • I taught my dog this trick before i watched the video but he doesnt understand that when i tell him to back away from me to do different tricks he spins around and tries to go thru my legs wat do i do??? Will someone please help me?

  • I would really like to teach my dog this trick but, my dog is never focused for a long amount of time like 2 min even! Even when it's something he loves, he'll focus on it for about 30 sec and if he doesn't get it, he turns away and does something else

  • thats awesome. great choice of breed. love collies! sooo smart! i was wondering if u could make a vid on how to train your dog on how to open n close doors?

  • very good at teaching thank you

  • i tught my dog how to crawl. if youre interested then comment

  • ohh what a beatiful placexD

  • I have a cuestion does it hurt a dog wen he/she hitss the ball back at you. any sugestions on what materials, work best

  • wow...is there anything your dog DOESNT do lol

  • How long does that take? I might try it

  • Just started this today, using the Frisbee as enticement. He seems pretty timid passing through my legs and takes a wide circle to return. As a rescue dog he's only been with me a couple of weeks, perhaps he has been disciplined for getting under peoples feet in the past.

He pulled like a train as well, though we seem to have got that nearly under control. Just time, patience and calmness.

  • thanks to you my dog have just learned this trick.. what i wanna know is how to teach him moving backward between my legs just like the lady on the last part of this vid. my dog knows how to do it forward but he gets confused moving backward, maybe also because i have no right knowledge of how to do it. will u lend me a hand?

  • how did you teach your dog to nudge the ball?

  • You have really great dogs ! I like your Videos ! And you are a really good Teacher !

  • MAN! These dogs look like obedient lil robots! It is truly amazing what some time and effort can achieve.

  • Love all your sessions. But I do have a question my dog is very food driven and very toy driven. I found that i can not use both because if I have both my dog chooses the food and will not fetch a toy or any thing. But I am finding with food he is becoming dependent and I do not want that any suggestions thank you, you are the best

  • ur awsme iv never seen such good dogs but its u who taught them that ur amazing and ur really good at explaining it well done to u mate

  • what age did you start training your dogs??

  • Nice! ill be doing this

  • Flashy!

  • wow that was great.. i will try to teach this trick to my blue merle aussie.. and i will be patient ^_^

  • thats really a cool trick.

  • This is major dedication to your dogs!

I'm wanting a border collie in the future ♥

Do you have a playlist solely for 'how to train' videos?

I love watching these to see how to train my dog =]

  • AMAZING DOG!

  • IM sorry to say this but it seems like when your dog was doing the spin backup thing , the video looks like you just rewinded a video of your dog doing it forward? IS THAT WAT YOU DID?

  • i want to know how to teach my dog to do a backflip come on Zak make a vid on that please

  • your dog is smart

  • thnks

  • Zak, I tried and tried ....... this must not be a trick he can do.... he prettty good at everything else, except this one trick. URGHHHH !!!!!

  • @ponceworkattic You have to try something else, or the problem could be you. There is no such thing as "my dog can't do this". If your dog is just getting frustrated, go back a step, or try something new. Not every dog learns from a certain method. Patience is key and keep it fun. Click the exact moment it does something you want. and be positive. also keep sessions short. good luck to you and your dog.

  • Did you teach your dog how to bounce the soccer ball back with their nose or did she/he do it by themselves? Anyways, great video :)

  • i love your dogs

  • is there a way to prevent your dog to bark at night?

  • thats kwl but could you make a video on how to get your dog to stand on your feet like venus does so well? its an awesome trick and i would love to no how!

  • i need to grow taller... lol

  • i'm going to try and teach my dog this weave ... she kind of has the back up learnt which I randomly taught her just when she gets in the way haha but never rewarded her since it was just funny to watch her reverse haha ... hopefully I can get her to spin and such ... :)

  • the two easiest commands is jump and come here

  • omg thats so awesome! gotta teach my dog that lol

  • wow! u r such an amazing dog teacher!!! (^___^)b u make dog training seem so effortless even though i know its not gonna be dat easy

  • u have such good dogs

  • amazing.

    i don't think i can do this

  • I can't wait to start teaching my dog this! Hopefully my Weimaraner will fit between my legs :D

  • Awesome!!

  • haha this looks so cool :)

Well I am having Syberian Husky and I know they are not easy to train bu tI will try to do this :)

  • could you make a video on how to fetch???? i have a cocker spaniel and he his harder to teach so ya

  • he has a teach your dog how to play Frisbee video and i used that how to teach my sisters cocker spaniel to play fetch with a ball. you of course just switch the Frisbee with a tennis ball. it worked great! you just have to keep with it and make sure your dog is having fun

  • u make it seem rlly easy!

  • wow.. your an amazing teacher but if you teach your dog to go throw your legs wong he go throw your legs when your walking?

  • Your Dog Is So Cute

  • Haha this isnt gonna take anytime with my dog. lolz i teach her tricks in a couple hours O.o

  • hey its easy for u u allredy trinded ot

  • great vid where did you get those wonderful dogs!

  • Very impressive!, both how well your dogs respond, and the methods you use. I really like your ideas. Thank you for sharing !!

  • Looks like a farm dog. In that case the dog is going to have high intelligence, athleticism, and non violent temperament, ideal for training.

  • how cute!

  • didnt ruiz ride a bike?

  • i love your videos you are the best trainer in the world...

  • I feel like its a role playing game. Level up your dog for the final battle. Check out my video " How to teach your dog the omnislash".

  • I havent seen anyone teaching that... Really cool video = )

  • Cool Video... I love doing that trick with my dog. But my dog is entirely food focussed!

    :-)

  • I really like how you communicate the methods of teaching dogs. I will continue to be more patient with my dogs in teaching them. Thanks for all the tips.

  • This is so cool, I can't wait to try this out!!

  • this helped me a lot thanx :)

  • love ur vids keep them up well done bdw im a new subscriber!:)

  • YEAH MAN that is too cool for life!

  • 00:59 Damn, you're good

  • How do you teach a dog to move it head in "yes" and " no movement claire

  • Awesome Zak! I have a 5 month old Golden Retriever - she chases the rolling frisbee, brings it back, and can drop it for about 10 throws at a time before she starts to lose interest, but she's not going after anything in the air yet. What can I do to work on her snout coordination this young? She won't let me balance things on her nose, and she doesn't go after food or tennis balls in the air either.

  • I would like to know how to teach the dog to instantly give the frisbee or more likely ball back.

  • Really cool. Great job. Your videos are fantastic :) The reversing through the legs is one of the things I'm working on atm. I clicker train so I'm using the clicker to shape the behaviour. My collie already knows a backup command and left and right spins separately. I'm trying the moving dog backwards through your legs and clicking and rewarding behind method. Maybe I should make a vid of us working on this so I can take a look at my timing etc

    Thanks again great vid.

  • Yeah Zac!!

  • how do you teach a dog not to run away when its not on a leash

  • teach it stay and heel i think he has some videos on it

  • @rsdarkd0gz Have u let it go without a lead b 4? Cause my dog started with a litte boring lead then i bought him an extended 5m one, If my dog went near the road or on the road id limit how far he could go but the first ever time i let him of without even being trained to stay, he was fine and didnt run too far xx

  • @rsdarkd0gz hmm when i made a better bond with my dog he stopped doing it :L x

  • lmao rewarding them with their currency :D

  • wow, thats cool,

  • Very awesome!

    I like your trick-school.......

  • Thanks for posting this-- breaking the movement up into back up and spin helped. My Border Collie/Aussie cross is picking it up very quickly.

  • I train this a lot like Sam trains it. (Sam is the chick with the cattle dog in this video)

  • Great video. Thanks. She sure is a happy dog!

  • ZAK....This is the trick Ive been waiting for!!! I cant wait to try this with my dog. Because of your videos, Ive successfully taught Josie, my four year old Australian Shepherd, how to do the Back Stall, Limp and the Walk on hind feet. Thanks for all your help.

PS: I'd love to see how you teach the walking on the front feet trick. Thanks Again.=)

  • very helpful, thanks for sharing.

  • Das ist erstaunlich,

  • wow this is cool!!!!

  • Awesome... I love your dogs! Your videos are so amazing, thank you! I train with my Border collie girl "Hope" since a couple of weeks, everyday I realize that she learns sooo fast...! It's fascinating!

  • hahahah... Now you are using the football as a reward... Cool...

  • listen man i have 3 dogs a blackmouth cur/ridgeback mix and a cane corso and a alaskan husky/malamute mix. How the heck do i get them to do tricks. When i try to train them they just siitat me and look at me like im a clown trying to put on a show. They are very sporty dogs but they just sit there when i try to train them. But when i stop they start running and stuff please help. My next step is a dog nanny which is $Money lots of it.

  • main thing in training as zak has said....find what makes your dog tick! whether its cooked hotdog chips, frisbys, dog treats or even your praise.

  • its like heres the toy now give it back

  • lol that looks so awesome!

  • Thats amazing

  • Great tip!!

  • Oh Zak, I don't believe in cloning pets...but I would make an exception for Venus! Such a smart and nice dog.

  • about time you put this up. yay for dogs that can go backwards!

  • our dog is very hyper, once i tried to teach her to sit she kinda got it but every time i went outside she would sit just to get a treat and thats not what i wanted can i teach her without the treat? is it possible?

  • Awesome trick :]

The problem with my dogs is that i can't train them outside at places like the park or anything because they get too easily distracted. Anytime another dog, person, bird, etc comes near us, my dog drops the lesson to go play :P So I have to train indoors which isn't as fun as outside. ;[

  • i wonder how much easier it is to have a breed like yours

  • awesome

  • do you now how to train pugs??

  • its a nice and very helpful video, I like the part of combining some old behaviors to produce something else, so everythig is up to imagination!!! It woulb be nice u to have a video on how to train the mind of a dog for example how to train to look for different objects. thks

  • Good stuff!

  • Awesome job!

  • Your awesome zak..

  • good instructions

  • Awesome!

  • great dog; fun; jeff

  • hey zak, nice video :) Could you please make a video about how to teach a dog to jump in my arms? I have vizla (higher dog than yours, longer legs, and I am smaller than you are) and I just don't know how to explain to him that I want him to jump in my arms with all legs :) not just front legs :) Please help :) lucka

  • if he can jump into your lap while you are sitting on the couch, try gradually putting more and more pillows under your butt so that your dog has to jump higher and higher. Then move against a wall and do a "Squat" so it looks like you are sitting. Same thing as before, gradually start standing up so the dog has to jump higher to get 1st onto your lap and then into your arms! It's pretty easy if you take it slow :)

  • Hallways are a great place to practice this also

  • tnx for the new video! :)

  • i live in new zealand... any ideas on where i can find soft frisbees for sale?

  • WIsh I still had my dog she just passed away

  • This is incredible. It looks so unreal, like its reversed video !!!!!

  • i see you're using the soccer ball!

    cool! =D

  • What Happened to your other videos?...like the sibling rivalry one...that one was the best.

  • A shoutout to my hero: MalditosPendejos!!!!!

  • Awesome trick. Thanks for sharing, Zak.

Do you have any advice on how to train a dog to play other sports, like volleyball?

  • thank you so much for sharing. I love it.

  • Nice work! I think you are now ready to do Canine Freestyle (I am sure you probably do disc freestyle). I love this trick and my BC loves it as well. Anything with a spin and he is all for that.

  • wish my dog could stop being stubborn

  • I have been wanted to teach something like this to my dog, thanks zak

  • i'll try this as soon as Blyth's paw heals

  • I was looking for a way to teach that. My dogs know tons of tricks and this is one that I can now add.
