The first one wasn't release with multiplayer either but it only took about a month for someone to release a mod for it.

@tubble6 nope unfortunately... It's a hybrid between Freeroam and Linear (mission after mission) So you cant go around between missions but you can get to your objective anyway you want, and just explore during a mission.
