This ad is absurd. Search youtube for the videos of Barney Frank talking about Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac before it came out that those GSE's were insolvent.
Frank is one of the biggest reasons for the mess Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac caused the economy. But the morons of Mass will re-elect him. Dumbest electorate in the country. And that's going some.
Barney Frank has done a good job trying to hide the truth here, namely that government regulation is largely at the cause of the problem. By mandating low cost loans to unqualified borrowers, and maintaining artificially low interest rates to drive excessive consumption. Frank's efforts and those of McBama are little more than an attempt to nationalize the economy. And, as history has repeatedly shown, such government intervention is universally disastrous.
Why doesn't Barney simply pass a law requiring that he doesn't have to bother to run for re-election? Just like his salary increases, his reelection could just be automatic.
It's sad that the people of Massachusetts don't even have the decency to be ashamed that they allow POS's like Frank to go to D.C. every year. Despite his personal crimes, his public crimes have cost us somewhere around $1-2T now. And we're supposed to pretend he is a person worth honoring with a vote?
