Yeah, they played the fight song. You see, unlike some teams, we're proud of our boys, even if they don't bring home the championship. They played a hell of a game, but so did Florida. Florida can feel great about beating a team with less than a quarter of their experience if they want. But I'm proud of the Tide for this season.

I also love them because of their rich tradition, history, the wishbone, and Namath and Todd. "Yea Alabama" was written after BAMA's 1926 Rose Bowl win and most other SEC fight songs were written many decades ago. It's called tradition in the most tradition rich football conference in the nation. Sad that you disparage something about which you are so grossly uninformed and ignorant.
