my grandmother passed away 9months ago, and she was exactly like this. Until I saw this I didn't realize how much I missed her. I wish so much I could just hug her right now. And now I'm crying. Great.
That's exactly the way my mum taught me how to make them. One thing the interviewer forgot to add was that the oven needs to be pipping hot and the oil smoking before putting the batter into the tins. Cook for 15-25 minutes until they have risen and are crispy, some chefs cook them till they have just risen but I don't think they taste as good if they are too raw.
Thank you so much for this video. Your granny seems like such a lovely lady. You must have been very proud of her. May she rest in peace. Lots of love x
100 yrs old and still has her wits about her..amazing...wonder what her secret for long life was?..I would have loved to hear all her words of wisdom and great stories...I bet she's still making the best yorkshire pudding up there in heaven, God bless her!
Does she have a recipe for a suet crust? my Grannie's recipe went to heaven with her I'm afraid. Best suet crust EVER!! she put it on Meat & Potato pies, steak pies etc. You couldn't move for 2 hours after eating it.
God Bless you
