Which scenes do you think would have credits on them? Some of the credit scenes may have been taken from actual footage from the anime episodes, and it would be VERRY time consuming to remove the credits and make it look OK, so I doubt the creator removed any credits.
Mmm, from what I remember of the anime, the opening/ending scenes are made with things that aren't in the actual episodes. Like from 4:03 to about 4:41 are from the Fumoffu credits and generally have a bunch of white words covering the animation. So I'm guessing that he either found raws online that didn't have text or he has the DVDs.
I really thought the video was better with the subtitles, and I never think that. The subtitles were extremely well placed though and served a purpose, it helped convey the story of the AMV.
