I lot of English coaches went to SA during the apartheid years and earned more money in six months than they would for a year's work in the UK. Cricketers were no better or different during this time.
One Black British cricketer, Gladstone Small, turned down a massive sum of money rather than to break the cultural boycott against SA. This is one British hero we can all be proud of!
