  • I like the sound of a Q-2 as much as the next guy, but please come on that's a bit excessive.

  • Is it just me, or do the housings on the rotating lights at 1:57look like they have skulls as a reflection? Ha ha ha!

  • Don't you mean 'The trip to the Alcoa fire'.?

  • Wow, that fire call was turning into a road trip!

  • where is this at, cuz i heard schyukill county. which is were i live, but i have never heard of alcoa?

  • @ryan125g Lebanon City. LOL I remember this fire....I was there....along with all of Lebanon county's EMS/Fire and half of Dauphin and Berks Co as well!

  • At 2:51 you can hear tires screaching for some reason.

  • I actually live in Maryville but i go 2 school @ alcoa high

  • I AGREE WITH APDMC IM IN SOUTH TEXAS AND THEIRS A BUNCH OF IMMATURE DRIVERS THAT THINK THEY R FUNNY OR DONT EVEN CARE AND THINK THEY CAN KEEP DRIVING BUT THATS OKAY LET THEM GET THE TICKET ND POSSIBLE JAIL TIME OR WORSE

  • It's nice to see people yield to emergency vehicles. They don't do that down South.

  • its bad feeling when responding but you have a duty to do

  • 6:50 i would be scared shitless at that point

  • Whats wth the rotoray? Looks broke??

  • Forgive me for saying this, but it appears that the ladder truck doesn't have any flashing lights. Are they just difficult to see or, in fact, did the driver forget to turn them on?

  • @Hotshot679 yes they r on if u look closely at some points like at 3:54 you can see the lights.

  • I never thought to ask this before....but where is Station 35 located? And what's it name?

  • @GreenBlaze75 its located on linglestown road in harrisburg pennsylvania....and the name would be Linglestown Fire company 35

  • @1417firefighter

    Thanks(my other account).

  • i forget were labanon is were is it exactly??

  • Lebanon is right in between Dauphin and Berks county, directly above Lancaster county.

  • oooooo ty im from cambria

  • No problem. That's up near Erie right?

  • nope south west im two hours east of pittsburgh

  • Oh. I was way off then. Haha.

  • your gunna hate me for saying this then maybe lol.... rtfd all the way lol

  • New York.

  • they went from panic mode to a sunday stroll , i think they realized it took so long to get thare that it was to late to save anything lol

  • At 5:32 theres a Ladder truck and in International Chassis, I've never seen a ladder on a Non-custom cab.

  • It's rare but they do exist. I see a lot in Canada.

  • Long drive :P

  • what is that rotating on the front of the truck?

  • Its called a Roto Ray

  • i hope u guys had a lot of gas in the trucks

  • What brand and modle fo breathing apparatus do you guys use in this video?they look pretty sinilar to the Dragar PA94 sets ive previously used.and great video too mate

  • damn.

  • I remember this fire. Sirens were going from 8 am clear into at least 3-5 am. I had a hard time sleeping. And my friend got injured in it(he's a fire lieutenant)

  • good job..that call was a pretty long ways out there!

  • great video... 5*

you guys were really haulin' ass on the way... no wonder your captain was so heavy-footed on the Q! LOL

  • damn that is a long haul

  • Shit you guys had one hell of a long ride to get their, we have the same problem, our jurisdicion is all farm land.

  • I know that's an old comment, but that must be really hard on you guys. Long response times, must be hard on who ever is having the emergency too.

  • hells yeah...sta 31...and amb sta 140!!! I was there lol.

  • Why is the rotoray thing turned off?

  • Did u guys get a diff paint job? jw, cuz i noticed that in the other videos, ur trucks are white nd blue. looks good tho!

  • "This is a video response of Engine 35 following Truck 88 (Middletown)" I do believe Truck 88 with the red paint scheme is from another jurisdiction.

  • yeah it is

  • Thanks RedPhoenix, any idea of what they stored there?

  • alot of plastic

  • Thanks for the video, sure brings back memories of that day... and night, and day, and night... you know what I mean ;-)

  • this is PA? had no idea acola was here

  • Q <3

  • I have Alcoa wheels on my Peterbilt

  • Oh, I think there's some smoke on the horizon 1 minute before the end.

  • Some firefighters and fire buffs like to watch responses farronfolbright

  • Lol biggest fire I've gone to yet :]

  • How come I got two negatives on my comment? I wasn't trying to be offensive to anyone but thats what happened. Also I found out that if the furnace explodes it's an automatic 10-alarm. Is that what happened? O btw the dispatcher was rehired as Station 9's chief...

  • Also. What the hell happened to cause a 10-alarm fire?! We also have an aluminum plant in our city limits, and it's standard procedure to call Station 1 (us) then have station 2 on standby but damn 10 Alarms! About a week ago, the alum. plant had a warehouse fire, and due to recent politics with dispatch. The lady called Station 9 (over 20 minutes away), then Station 2 (10 minutes away), then Station 1 (us)(only 2 minutes away!) She said she did what she thought was right. She was fired.

  • Himdarling, this building was no longer an aluminum plant at the time of the fire - just a heck of a big warehouse.

  • I wish my department could afford an Aerialscope! Tell you about our situation. We needed two trucks 2 years ago. Well our knocker leaked if you hit the brakes too hard. The lights didn't always work, the siren didn't work and the whole truck shook going over 35. Our ladder was an old 80's E-One with only a 50ft ladder. New condos were put up which would take at least a 100ft ladder. What did we get? Nothing for 2 years. Just 2 weeks ago we got an old Ford knocker from another station.

  • Thanks guys for adding this video! I was the dispatcher on duty that day for Lebanon County! I could not have asked for a better response from your department as well as Dauphin County. This is a day I will remember forever...10 Alarms this fire went to using apparatus from 7 different counties!! 4 fills sites 2 dumps sites and a 5" lay of 4,000ft plus... not bad for a days work!!

    Thanks Leb County Dispatcher #171

  • good job honestly that has to be freakin hard keepin track of all of those rigs

  • biggest fire ever

  • the response is sometimes the best part!! don't like the siren? then don't watch the video!!

  • You don't have to use every single lame transition in your editing software.

  • rotoray broke on that thing? going different speeds to almost stopped, great video, thanks!

  • Another great video!!

  • The tower is pretty quick. Our tower is quite slow. Might actually be willing to follow this one ;) cheers!

  • there is nothing better than the sound of a q siren and air horn

  • @pilot4life15 I don't know. The sound of that big old DD13 or 15 is pretty sweet too.

  • ive never seen one of those rotating tri lights before...like u have on the front of the truck, under the wind shield..thats cool

  • Its from PA, USA

  • really we are station 35 to up in the poconos

  • Where in the Poconos if from District 17 Carbon County

  • Pike County

  • where is this? Texas?

  • great video! where exactly are u guys from?

  • Imagine being the 30 minutes away near the plant and seeing these guys roll into town. Holy shit something must really be burning if THESE guys are here

  • I wonder, did they have to stop for fuel on the way?

  • "TomTom how far to the Alcoa plant fire?"

  • HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

  • holy shit!!!

  • WOW 30 mins had to be hard to sit thru,do you know how many FireFighters were there total?Great video, and great job!

  • nice puff of black smoke from the ladder is that a detroit in that our ladder is and smokes like that in second gear for about 300 feet no matter how long its been running and that with the non smoke filter on

  • sorry I wrote so much that I had to post it in 2 comments

  • I ran with cleona co. 8 at the time when this happened. There was miles of hoses everywhere there and the one that was the most longest was the one that went all the way to the main water house. Everyone that was there throughout the night didn't care where they crashed to get at least a small nap to try and grab enough energy for the rest of the day. I ended up grabbing a small one on the floor of our engine. Some outside on the ground leaning on the pile of foam bottles.

  • At the end I had a whole bunch of blisters on the back of my heel, but despite the pain I kept going. I give props to everyone that stayed there through out the night as I did. The first due company was there quite fast. This company wasn't called until after either the 2nd or 3rd alarm that was sent out. This was a 5 alarm fire. So companies all around came to this. I hope you guys don't preach to how long it took them but more give them some support and say hey thanks for being there.

  • seeing as they weren't the first due company, just a cover company at the time, i wouldn't really be worried too much about that

  • paystar7000, this is ridiculous. fireman, especially volunteer wich first have to leave work, drive through city-traffic to go to the fire station or home to wear on the uniform if it's not in the car. in my case, i take up to 30 minutes to get to the fire in my village. my atwantage is, i'm on-route with a motorcycle, so it's easyer to get through the traffic.

  • Bro, chill, one they are TRUCKS carrying soo much equipment and reserves. Plus, they have to fight with traffic. Give them a break. At least they are doing their job.

  • Those fire engine sirens were going for about 12 hours that day!

Well not that long, but they started in the morning and ended at around midnight.

The smoke looked like a tornado, I was freaked out, but it was wierd....

There are some awsome shots at this website

  • was this the one up near pottsville????

  • Nice video. I presume that the rig has a Cummins Diesel?

  • wana see MORE lol ..... nice vid ...BE SAFE BRO FireFighter iain younger UK

  • 30 minutes...wow, what a haul

  • This video is only 7 minutes long, but you altered the scenery at least 5 times, I presume to speed it up. How long did it actually take you to get to location from the station?

  • The Camera we are using only took 30 second clips. So in other words I had to fix it up. It took us almost 30 minutes to get there, but they wanted us Class 1 to the scene.

  • @LinglestownFireCo35

that sucks mine can record as long as i have memory and i have a 2gb memory card in it which is currently set to "default memory device"

  • @LinglestownFireCo35 i'm guessing class 1 means haul ass with lights and sirens

  • @LinglestownFireCo35 alcoa is putting FLUORIDE in America's Water

Fluoride is TOXIC BI PRODUCT of producing Aluminum

Rather than pay for disposing TOXIC FLUORIDE the CEO of ALCOA and Sec. of USA TREASURY

CRONIES voted to charge USA TAX PAYERS to dump ALCOA's TOXIC WASTE into USA FOODS and WATER

TOXIC fluoride VERSES MINERAL FLUORIDE are oranges and apples

ALUMINUM TOXIC fluoride causes tooth decay, arthritis, Alzheimer's

    Alcoa is NWO anti America

NWO Alumni create health dangers to humanity

  • Wonderful video. Like to see the perspective from behind the other fire truck. What happened at Alcoa???

  • It's a rather large building that had caught fire which brought in 3 to 4 counties of Fire Apparatus.
