I really don't like how close congressman Paul is the Tea Party movement. Paul is indeed the ONLY hope for America at this time, being the only politician anywhere near any mainstream channels who can posit the correct kind of change (ie, actually increase individual autonomy), but the Tea Party people are nothing but nationalist, Christian theocrats who are very much a threat to this country, and I fear that Ron Paul's libertarianism could be overshadowed and corrupted by them.

@rationalegoist90 I agree, I am Catholic Christian myself, but I support separation of church and state, perhaps we should not even have a state, but the minute you mix the two all you get is more problems. You can not use force and coercion to get individuals to think like you, we are protected by the constitution to have freedom of religion and I don't know why Neocons do not get that. Also it is not very Christian to use force and coercion to get people to practice Christinanity.

Damned Paul is about the only one in all of Washington willing to at least publicly acknowledge what many Americans can plainly see and know: that this country is done as is. I cannot remember the exact date, a couple months ago, but one day Wall Street started tanking and it suddenly stopped dropping and leveled off....it was very odd how it suddenly began dropping so severely then mysteriously leveled off.
