wat i dislike about prince of persia games is that you can only go one way to do the missions. unlike assasins creed for example you can climb what ever building u want they need to do that on a prince of persia game. just climb all the buildings.

What I liked about this game:

1.its once again the sands of time(the other one sucked)

2.The graphics look cool.

3.The combat is not one on one.

4.The elemental powers(they are even far better than the last airbender film)

5.the puzzles.

What I hated:

1.the princes face(I know it isnt based on the movie,but Jakes face looks better)

2.the combat is crap and boring(Should have put the one from warrior within or Batman Arkham asylum)

All in all its good for a rental.

I totally agree ... combat engine from Batman Arkham Asylum --> when I got a hold of it I could play the game for hours ... moves are so fcking fluid and natural ... really stunning ... I LOVE IT ... when I first played Batman it was like a perfect game ... the story, Batman itself, combat engine ... everything :D can't wait for arkham asylum 2 ... but what is a MUST BE for me to love a game ? a very powerful story ... and POP has it ... :)

Warrior within is overrated, a game does not need blood to be good, sands of time, two thrones, PoP (2008/9), and this actually FEEL like PoP, the creator of PoP worked on sands of time, but not warrior within and he worked on two thrones ;) The creator of PoP said he was disgusted by the violence and dark tone in PoP WW :) Why do you people think there isnt coming another WW styled PoP? Well, I think warrior within deserve it's M rating *cough major boobage cough*. Two Thrones kept the whole "slow-down-time-and-watch-you-­chop-someone-in-half" aspect, something the Sands of Time lacked.

Perhaps this game is as tame as POPSOT, but I haven't tried it, so I can't be sure. One thing is for certain though. If I showed this game to anyone in the 90's they would freak out over the violence XD.

I didn't mention any sort of comparison between the 2008 Prince Of Persia and the Sands trilogy... Ubi Soft tried to bring out a brand new graphic, and I liked it (everyone has his own opinion). The story was pretty good, except for the end where everything goes back to the way it was.

The Sands trilogy brought to the history of video games something special, something that you can't dislike. But this one, this just made it in a BIG hurry, just to respond the GOW3, and they failed IMO.
