  • how many snakes do you guys have total?

  • WOW! Those big snakes make my corn snake look like a little girl drinking tea. :(

  • misleading title

  • I really like satan... she is my fav.

  • I have a suggestion... If you increase your tags you might get more of your deserved views, Your show is totally awesome and I <3 you guys! keep it up!

  • awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Whats better?

Having a big tank... and a whole bunch of hides..

Or racks and only a water bowl?

  • @Chris98x A lot of people have argued about this.

Apparently they are only in there to be fed.

  • @Chris98x / Anybody Else...

The reason for the racks is so they can breed and be fed.

If you own only 1 snake, or two. Then get a big tank. I have 4 reptiles, and i have a 18inch ball python female baby in a 20"long cage. I wont move her out until she is about 30-40inches.

If a snake is as long as the cage around, it can fit comfortable. As 20 long is equal to 40inches, she can stay there comfortable. But I might move her out sooner becuase i'll have the money in a year or so. For everything.

  • s 4 s if you LOVE REPTILES!

  • what if you find a snake shed on the floor in your house and worried how will i react

  • i like how they coil after they strike! just amazing

  • For the first feed in this video, from australia. It is illegal to feed live in Australia.

  • @np9490 this is the USA :P

  • @wan2shuffle

but the first one was from Australia

  • why bunnies thats fuked up . i understand rats but bunnies wtf!!!!

  • @metalboy61787 Basically the same thing. There both rodents only one has freakishly long ears and a stub tail. lol. I hate hypocrites who only care about the so called "cute" animals -_-

  • @wan2shuffle whats funyn is rabbits arnt rodents haahaha but see im wierd people look at me wierd i have my pet rabbits u that iv bonded with ect but i feed my snakes rabbits as well and i dont get grossed out by it all my animals r fed naturaly so dogs r fed a raw dietand i feed evt hing liek rabbits ect as well even roo and goat but the only thing i dont feed any of my animals is horse meat

  • @Horseloverkooder but what im saying is an animal is an animal. Some are more cute than others but that doesnt make them better than the animals that are misunderstood by most people, such as snakes.

  • did anyone else notice it didnt have a 0:30

  • @WMRProduction its does u trippin

  • i had one snake i miss slick he is well was 23 foot when i seen him last burnzie python about 500 pounds he was a big baby took care of my cats kitten he wpuld pic up and drop in the litter pan after a bit would let them run he loved taken baths when i did they can be good pets when u get them young but older look out trina

  • That's exactly how my 16in. California Kingsnake eats and also my Mexican black Kingsnake feed REALLY aggressive!! It's quite freaky..

  • hey guys was that a rat the big one ?

  • what is the song it is awesome ty in advance guys peace out!

  • I thought snakebytes was atleast a little more educated group of snake hobbyists, but putting a live feeding video in tells me that they condone immoral bullshit...

  • @ValkyereHowie Immoral? Get over yourself dude.

  • I'm not saying I'm better than you or anyone else. Saying your 'better' than someone else is retarded bullshit. However I am saying that my opinion on life feeding is better than yours. Because it's just common sense. Live feeding is absolutely UNNESSISARY and just simply WRONG. It is pain and suffering that NEED NOT EXIST due to either lazy snake/reptile hobbyists or sick people whom get away with uploading their animal abuse on to youtube under 'educational' while they laugh at torture.

  • @ValkyereHowie You may have an opinion that one way is superior to another and you're entitled to it. You seem to think death of any live animal by another animal is immoral. That, in my opinion, is naive. An animal that is born to be fed as food to another animal must perish somehow. You're trying to distinguish a difference that makes sense to you in defense of the feeder animal. cont...

  • @ValkyereHowie ... A rat doesn't share your perception of fair or cruel despite what you think. I've fed live and there's very little suffering to it. I didn't make the rules, nature did. In fairness to the snakebytes crew, that wasn't even their feeding video. It was submitted by a fan.

  • @xxxMrAwesomexxx Any animal has SOME kind of perception of cruelness and justice, give one rat heeps of food and the other very limited rations and tell me if that rat doesn't become resentful to the other. Very little suffering? Even if that were true, it is still, ALL UNNESSISARY SUFFERING! I'm sorry sir, but that is not nature. ANYTHING THAT OCCURS WITHIN A DOMESTIC DOMAIN IS NOT NATURE! It is your moral responsibility to as what occurs in YOUR DOMESTIC DOMAIN! Nature is outside my friend.

  • @ValkyereHowie Whether domesticated or not, a snake isn't going to feel bad about eating another living creature only humans can feel that :P No animal, besides dogs and cats, have perceptions of cruelness. Calm down about this not being natural, yes it is because if we don't feed the snake it would die and that would be CRUEL just as you think feeding it is cruel. In the wild the rabbit or rat would die anyways. even if you feed it dead rats or rabbits that rabbit was killed to feed it anyways.

  • @TheMexOfAmerica "Whether domesticated or not, a snake isn't going to feel bad about eating another living creature" That is exactly the point, it is OUR JOB to realize what is morally acceptable, ANYTHING that occurs in a HOUSE or other MANMADE dwelling is absolutely and completely DOMESTIC and UNNATURAL. I assume you deworm + deparasite your snake(s) yes? Would the snake deworm or parasite itself in the wild? No, it would simply die earlier.

  • @TheMexOfAmerica If you are going to in a merciful and quick manner kill the animal so it doesn't have to suffer, well okay at least that's better. BUT if your going to feed the animal live and make it undergo COMPLETELY UNNESSISARY PAIN, then the moral failure is in your hands. Carnivours are inefficent creatures, but if your going to keep one, at LEAST do your part to minimize the suffering please.

  • brian kinda looks like nergal from behemoth lol

  • @Kyleisalone Awesome!

I thought i was the only one who noticed! I hope they don't share the leucemia tho :-/

  • i kinda feel bad for that rat,it looked nervous and scared, but thats how nature works I guess........ *sniff*

  • and ur snakes are so raw lol thx

  • dang those thngs can eat ay snake bites where those rats and rabits dead well where most of them dead? cuz most of them worent moving

  • hay brian i got a yellow rat snake & Some people suggest i go outside & get some peices of wood ( not tiny but decent size) peices for my rat snake because they love to climb & was wondering what can i do to clean it? i've heard many things but I rather ask you this question.Because I doubt you will lie lol.I right now have it in hot water 1 side 20 & Then the other side probally longer not sure what to do next there are no points & Its pretty smooth :D please reply Thanks.

  • omg kel is so funny in another video and he still is

  • your enclosures are cruel, you guys are greedy and have no respect for reptiles

    + learn to pronounce python

  • i care for a baby ball python wich is a pastel.my dad said hes getting a axanthic ballpython.im gonna get a piebald i think there so pretty

  • how often would u feed a ball pyqrthon??

  • I have a Childrens python and she is really aggressive now but she used to be great to handle. I guess that's because I haven't handled her for ages. People at this pet shop that I visit often told me that smaller snakes are usually more twitchy than bigger snakes.

  • @duckiesmayrule i have a 3 year old CP he's sooooosweet never bit me but i can't get him to eat !!!!!!!! which worries me any suggestions i just bought him about a week ago from a breeder maybe hes getting adjusted to a new home ? i hope he's not sick

  • @stephzg if youve only had him for a week its normal for him not to want to eat yet. ive bought snakes that i couldnt get to feed for up to 2 or 3 weeks. give it some space for a little while then in a few days try again

  • @wellsm3 thnx he finally ate 3 weeks ago and ate this friday thnx

  • great video i loved it!

  • that was awesome .they are really cool and i love snakes they are really intesting i want to work with snakes someday too

  • that was awesome1

  • Hi i love watching all your vids i have one question do you have any anacondas????

  • i bought a mouse for my king snake and it seemed like the mouse kept getting away... it couldnt catch it.. is that possible? or do you think the snake just wasnt hungry? also, with my king snake, can i feed it lizards instead of mice.. i kind of feel bad feeding it mice, lol.. besides i fed it 2 lizards b4.. :) but now i have this kind of big lizard in the same cage and they are just living together!! the snake is not EATING IT!! will the snake eat it when its hungry ??

  • @swatregret Snakey can catch that mouse easily if he's healthy, so there are probably other reasons why he isn't eating. The live lizard will stress out the snake so get the lizard out. Snakes typically go off food if some factor in their environment isn't right, so check cage temperature and that the snake has some hiding places. Then give him a week's peace and quiet and offer food again. If he doesn't eat within an hour or so, take out the food. Repeat a week later. He'll eat eventually :)

  • wow you know alot about this stuff

  • @SuperZachary2000 Hehe, not really, I have two snakes and read a lot about how to keep them properly :o) I only know a lot about king snakes, corns and ball pythons tho :)

  • love that sometimes the snake misses

  • โคตรเจ๋ง

  • hey ive sent you guys commonts before i was jjaaretards but i made i knew account and i love you guys and i was wondering where you get those snake drowrs

  • How do you kno if you are overfeeding your snake?

  • I just finished watching "killer Aliens" on Animal Planet... And guess what? Its legal now down in Florida to kill them on site. Pack your bags honey... were going to the state of Florida. I fucking hate pythons and anacondas. I'm going to Florida to take care of some business. I'm serious they r a invasive species in Florida n upsetting the ecosystem n now its legal to kill them on site...YES!

  • @d3r0n Man your so cool dude, you can kill things without arms and legs. Too bad all the snakes down there are gone mother nature does a better job of getting rid of them than your sorry pansy redneck ass.

  • Beutiful snakes

  • 0:01

  • if i want my ball pythons to be 5 1/2 - 6 feet should i feed every 3-4 days when theyre babies and every five days when sub adult?

  • are the albino articulated pythons good pets do you and i also want to get green tree python and my parents wont let me get both which is a better choice, plz help

  • hey brian

I have a okeetee cxorn snake very healthy but my friend scard her when she was eating now she wont eat at all is there a way i can get her to eat

  • Do you have to feed them rats/mice, or is there an alternative? I really want a snake, but I'm also in love with other animals, and I'd personally feel bad seeing that.

  • @TheAirsoftDudes dogs can bite

  • what are you guys going to do when they're illegal tomorrow?

  • Hello I really want a pet snake but I do not want to feed it mice, is there any snake types/species that can maybe just eat small chunks of fish or maybe large crickets? And maybe a type that stays very small?

  • @Depro900

depro if you want one feed her mice, i would recommend you for begginners a corsnake or a ball python

  • @Depro900: Green Snakes eat crickets and other insects, and Garter Snakes will readily accept things like Nightcrawlers and live/dead feeder fish. Ribbon Snakes require live fish. What about frozen mice?

  • hey Brian, do you have any stimson python? I have one, my old one got away. I love snakes and I like your snakes a lot.

  • "but she's actually just a big puppy dog..." HISSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

haha. puppy dog, riiiiight. puppy dogs don't think about attacking when you pet them.

  • how do you know that her hissing meant attack? if an animal gets used to you long enough from you handling them and caring for them, they dont get afraid anymore or see a need to attack. they know youve never done anything bad to them so your a good guy, you bring them food. shes just putting on a show.

  • I need some help getting my ball python to switch to rats. She's 350g and I had a go at feeding her a 35g rat pup today. She wasn't having any of it so I soaked the rat in a mug with a mouse hoping some of the mouse scent would rub off on the rub. After having no luck with that I put the mouse brains onto the rat. She was definitely interested but in the end didn't go for it. Has anyone got anymore suggestions?

  • @OneThousandBats you probably wont get her to eat rats. their picky basterds. just stick with the mice and feed her 3-4 instead

  • @OneThousandBats some people try putting the rat with a bunch of mice in the freezer for 3-4 days. If anything, let her go a little longer without food. Snakes can go a long time w/o eating with no real damage.

  • es uno de los capitulos de snakebytes que mas me han gustado yeahh !

  • hey listen to 2:45 to 3:50

  • Do the snakes ever get out of those Racks? ): Not much room.

  • @doggyhog123

    lol hater

  • hi

guys i need help i got my new baby corn snake

    i have paper as substrate

i want to change into aspen

but i have a glass viv nd the heat mat i have dosn't have a sticky bit on it

will i place the heat mat in the tank and then put paper over it and then put aspen in

because i read on internet that lots of baby corns borrow and stay on the heat mat and can die

    please give me an advise

  • woooooooooow in 5:44

  • glad it wasnt a live feed.

  • @ 5.47 brian almost goes down... lol

  • In Sweden we use drawers like that to keep our socks and shirts in. I don't think many people would even consider to put living animals in such small spaces. Don't you think that is compromising too much with the living conditions for the animals who's interest you say you look to? Especially the larger ones you keep in there? I don't like chicken factories and this looks a little too much like chicken factory style to me. Poor snakes.

  • thats how you keep snakes on a budjet in USA

  • hellllllllllllll yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @drummerboy1029 lol yeah unfortunately.

then again he is a pro-breeder and seller.

you dont make money buy building real-lufe tanks for every single snake...

  • @alphacanis

alphacanis really they know way more than you of snakes and its their job so they know what they are doing.

  • my dream is to work with big snakes ... this is my favorite video from snakebites.

  • just amazing like all ur vids :P

  • This is the first snakebytes I've seen and i Love it, Keep up the good work!!!!

  • you are a stupid prick.

  • 6:24 Do You Need The Rat Tail? lols

  • is it true that some boas can become "A"sexual?if so then what kind if not all?

  • aRE YOUR Snakes all non piosonous and are andacondas?

  • Is it safer to use a large hemostat rather than use just your hands?

  • Brian & co. I love your videos! And the snakes you have look amazing! I wish I could work for you!!

  • ei need the help of experts my ball python does not poop for almost 2 weeks and i am worried any explanation? temp is good.... please answertme thank you

  • it depends if your feeding him if you dont feed him often he wont shit lol.

  • Then why watch the video?

  • im getting a red tailed boa on saturday

  • brian what happened to wildbill

  • awesome shirt in the disclaimer

  • wats a good first snake?

  • ball python or cornsnake

  • i loved your red tailed boa

  • how many snakes do u have

  • what kind of education do you need to work with reptils ? Thats really something i would love to work with, But is there a speciel line you have to go ?

    Nova

  • not really just read some books or some things online its really easy to figure snakes out but if your scared then youll have to get over that

  • i love reptiles myself, i own some also. You just need to study herpetology and own some reptiles to be educated and experienced with them. But those are just the basics of course!

  • i got a spider right now. and 4 types of diffrent insects :D

  • you might be interested with herpetology, the study of reptiles & amphibians.

  • yeah maby. ill check it out. first im gonna go 3 years with computer design xD

  • The way they strike and then curl around their prey is so cool. Pythons are really beautiful, too. Then again, the vast, vast majority of snakes are (even if some are dangerous as fuck!). Awesome. =)

  • What breeds of rabbits make good snake food?

  • 6.10 omg lol

  • I think you guys are amazing and PROVE to all these people on myspace who put on videos of snakes eating live prey and say "but my snake won't eat dead".. Too many use this excuse to put up videos of snakes/lizards eating prey(even alive at times) Yourselves and prehistoric pets both show TONS of snakes eating dead. Good job proving that it is easily done! Unfortunately for some, watching a lizard torture a rat seems to be entertainment.

  • what do you do if they miss the rat/rabbit? have you gotten bit before?

  • some of your racks i see dont have any windows on the front so it will be pitch black for the snakes. do they mind that?

  • No they don't. Most Snakes (as far as I know) are Biurnal, but mostly Nocternal.

  • you mean diurnal, not biurnal

  • Oh thank you.

  • do they ever get out of those draws?

  • Comment removed

  • What happend to wild Bill?

  • Doesn't the ink come off the newspaper?

  • hey brian do you have an anaconda if you do can you show it thanks

  • im not being hippy or nuthin but u need bigger tanks for the retics biggest snake in the world

  • As Brian said in the video, retics don't do much in their cage. Unless they're hunting or getting a drink of water, they mainly just sit in a corner all curled up. That size of cage is good if you have as many big snakes as they have and are breeding them.

  • listen CHUCK snakes do not just curl up in a corner my snake climbs and explores and they need to shed thier skin

  • they strech out in the back.

  • I Have one Question what is your biggest snake? I would really like to see him, he must be very cool so do me a favor and ahow him on one of your shows.

  • nice, pro vid.

  • How can you tell a Burm from a Retic? Obviously retics get bigger just say you have a baby or juvie of each. How can you tell the difference?

  • Well a retic's pattern is nothing like a burm's if you can't tell the difference you obviously don't need to keep either of them.

  • I don't want to keep one, I was just wondering... Don't need to get mean about it mate.

  • Ik man but the reason I get all pissed is because there are people out there who don't do any research or anything and they keep snakes that they don't know anything about. Not saying you would but ya never know and I was just making sure you weren't gonna go out and buy some. lol.

  • Ah yea, UI know what you mean, I hate that too. I'm only 14 though. I know it was a stupid question, but I was still curious. I looked up some pics of each though. I see what you mean about the patterns being completely different.

  • Greetings from Germany! You have very nice snakes!Wonderful!

  • do you guys have redtail boas and when will u breed them

  • Fight H.B. 669!
