i though it was real the first time but then after that i realized it might be fake but i still helded on to the hope that it might be real but i still love it cuz its awsome as hell!
I knew it was fake, NOT because of the animation. that was perfect. But because he wouldn't have gained that kind of velocity, so wouldn't have gone that far. secondly, he would have either skipped off of the water or torn through the other side of the pool. this one was tooooo simple. if you've water skied, this was a no brainer..
One, did he really unbuckle his chin strap before taking off his helmet? (That speed and force into the pool would have knocked it off. Two, really, do you build a wooden platform to put the landing pool on? (They must have had exact engineering skills). Three, I would have been doing back flips if I just landed that jump. He was too calm. FAKE FACTS.
I'm going to have to go with the guys who said...people thought this was real? lol some pretty amazing things can be done today this actually being done?.....i think while im at it ill video Santa Claus on my roof his Christmas too..lol. I'm not seeing how this is one of the greatest fakes of all time either hasn't anyone seen a movie with CGI in the last decade?
Actually i kinda realized it was fake. I have one of these pools and when you barely move around in it, the sides wobble back and forth. the sides didnt even move when he hit them. If he hit it as hard as it was suppose to be, the pool would of shook hard, maybe even ripped or turned over.
i woulda known it was a fake, i just wouldnt have thought it used animation. my first thought was that the guy was in the pool thhe whole time, and they launched a dummy or something off the ramp.
Looks cool, but breaks the laws of physics.
