I don't like it, sorry. I realize its very hard piece for leading vocals so I won't go after this. But the guitars.. come on its not Metallica or smth like that to be just chopped, ticket off. This song demands some feeling, especially the intro! And you play it all too fast. Its an important song to me (and I believe many others, not to mention the writers - tribute to their mother who passed away) so personally I wouldn't release just weak or fair cover. Kinda 'do it great or don't touch it'.
@szczebon Thanks for the comment. I agree in that it is a very hard song in terms of feeling, both for singing and playing. We rehearsed several covers that night and this was the last one we did, so maybe that didn't help. Still we made it respectful 'cause I really like Anathema and the song. Anyway, let's face it, no one will ever do it as well as the Cavanaghs.
