Hey, I got these Today from play.com (search skullcandy and it's the 1st listing)

It says in the description "Built in volume control" and "Built in mic"

The mic works, but I have no idea where it's located... do you?

And the volume control... well, I can't find that either! I tried clicking on the plastic that's on the cord, I guess that's there just to seperate the cord and for show. So I'm asking you because you have the same pair.
