TP focuses on 3 characters and focused on the moral and internal struggles that they faced and battling the elements. The people who wanted TP to focus on a "company", like BOB, have to realize that the number of US Marines in TP dead is ridiculously higher than the paratroopers in BOB; I think it said somewhere that 94% of Sledge's Kay Company became casualties. Imagine trying to watch BOB where 94% of the company is wounded or dead.

@ShuKnight it's hard to compare the two because they had different goals for each one. BoB was about an entire company and the pacific focuses mainly on the story of 3 marines all in different units. and the pacific is kind of more like the thin red line in the fact that it focuses more on the internal struggles of the characters. so from the perspective of NOT comparing it to band of brothers (lol?) id say yes, it is as good as band of brothers.

if that makes any sense at all.
