Apollo 13 The Moon Landing Cover Up Mission, a go, a success. They couldn't go back to the moon, since we never made it there in the first place, so this was the perfect drama cover up, they staged it perfectly for maximum dramatic effect and then never brought up the moon again.
@GavzieK3U you are probably a 10 year old boy who dosant know the true meaning of a good film, or if you aren't 10 you are probably a older guy that has a mentality of a 10 year old, and im only 13 years old!
@suckitwood619 First of all, i don't care if you are 13 years old. I'm just saying my opinion on that movie. and if you like that movie.. who cares?! Problem?
I have created a music album which charts the history of the Space Race.
Space Race by Rhesus Monkey.
The album charts the start of the Space Race with Sputnik 1957, Yuri Gagarin's first human space flight, John Glenn's Triple Orbit, Ed White's Gemini IV Space Walk, then onto Apollo.
You can view videos of three tracks from the album within my YouTube channel.
@Guiiac the reason that mankind hasn't been going there is because NASA shut down for all the accidents thats happened. Since they had the challenger blow up and Apollo 13 almost get lost, they didn't want to kill anyone else so they shut down so no one's going to space anymore that we know of
@musicfreak341 The true reason is it cost a heck of a lot of money and brings back only data, its cheaper to do unmanned systems that collect just as much data.
@FenderBender4815 actually both are real, science is a book story stretching across billions and billions of years and god is the person holding the pen, writing that story. most scientists, astrophysicist's believe or/and except god as a possibility. as does the whole world. almost all Christians over thousands of years of our history have believed the world is ancient ie billions old because god is ancient.
@Guiiiac nasa stopped going due to nothing being there, development of new robots and technologies and budget cuts. robots have been there since the 80's though. and after 40 years man is set to go back and onto mars
APOLLO 13 NEVER LAND IN THE MOON????HOLLYWOOD=THE MAGIC ONE DRUID???WAKE UP PEOPLE ARE $LAVE$ IN TOTALLY IGNORANT AND ARROGANT=DOLLAR SNAKE REPTILE=ONE=IN GOD WE TRUST???WTF
I loved the Apollo 11 landing, which I watched with my dad when I was a child.
But even more, I love the Apollo 13 landing, in which those brave astronauts found their way home, with the help of friends.
Their team, led by the great Gene Krantz, pushed through the walls of their perceived limitations. Those walls came tumbling down as they worked as a brilliant team, at lightning speed, to bring their friends home safely.
That's how I feel about our soldiers. World peace will save their lives.
i watched this movie in class cracked up laughing at the start and hated the bit from apollo 1 but have'nt seen the end yet and i thought they all died.. oppsss .. haha xD
@TheWwweee - God, I wish NASA still had that Apollo - era spirit, instead of letting themselves get savaged by the government. Even w / privatization of space flight, it might be 20 - 50 years before mankind seriously returns to the Moon & goes to Mars. The government always has had NASA's head on the chopping - block. Every administration, not just the current one.
@TheWwweee - The US Space program needs action on its own, not just hitching a ride w / the Russians w / could ( Hopefully NOT ) pull the rug out from us at any time. We can't be dependent on any other country. Cooperative with, YES, dependent upon, NO. NASA is the " Red - headed stepchild " who gets beaten, come appropriations time.
Hello, I'm french so excuse me for my english. I search the title of the music who they listen on the radio on the spatial machine. That's a rock n rolle music. Please, what's the title ??
@math1301 - I think you are wanting to know the name of the song they play on the tape player. It is probably "Spirit in the Sky" by Norman Greenbaum or "Honky Tonkin'" by Hank Williams.

@magmablock Any suggestions for a novice space nerd? I've seen Apollo 13, From The Earth to The Moon and The Right Stuff, loved all of them. Any other films/series in the same vein?
@TheRikRoll uhhh.... no. sorry. the moon cannot support life. and the aliens could not have developed that fast since we had much better living conditions, so we shouldve been formed long before them. theres no way any intelligent life couldve developed on the moon. it was just a spark that occured while turning the oxygen tanks on.
@smileitsshannon29 How do you know there isn't life that can live on the moon? We only know a very specific type of life, carbon-based life, there may be many other forms which can survive in very different conditions. The moon does not support any life that we know of, but that doesn't mean it can't support any kind of life that exists in the universe.
Universal Pictures' Greatest Achievements: All Quiet on the Western Front (1930) Psycho (1960) Spartacus (1960) To Kill a Mockingbird (1962) Jaws (1975) National Lampoon's Animal House (1978) The Deer Hunter (1978) The Blues Brothers (1980) E.T. the Extra Terrestrial (1982) Back to the Future (1985) Out of Africa (1985) Backdraft (1991) Jurassic Park (1993) Schindler's List (1993) Apollo 13 (1995) The Mummy (1999) A Beautiful Mind (2001) Seabiscuit (2003) Ray (2004) King Kong (2005)
@TheRikRoll It's an interesting theory, but it proven to be a damaged thermostat in the oxygen tank that failed during a ground test months before the mission. This melted the insulation of the O2 fan motor wires causing them to act as a source of ignition, boiling off O2 faster than the vent lines could remove it. Pressure built up rapidly until the tank exploded, severely damaging the service module.
my favorite part about how they filmed this was how they rode the vomit comet (totaled more than 3 hours on there; more than any astronaut) for the shots in outer space. gives more realism to the film itself. much props to the director and everyone for putting in so much effort.
