  • so right

  • big monotonous in the architecture but looks interesting although it's filmed in foul winter weather. Probably Minsk is the only one big city in Belarus without any Polish influences in the past. I'm gonna visit this country, I'm very curious how it is in Belarus, our Polish TV always present you as a totalitarian poor country with unhappy people. And vice versa :-) |I wanna get to know is it true or not. Greets Belarusian

  • congatulations to you

  • International objective official statistic shows how Belarus since 1991 sacked behind Poland in living conditions, although subsided Russian oil and gas has contributed to the Belarusian economy. But I can recommend you to see the free documentary about the rigged elections in Belarus in 2006, Kalinovski Square, to get a clearer picture of the situation in the country. Just press my profile to see the documentary, its is really good.

  • I lived there for 9 years sweet memories.

  • I visited Minsk this past December. It is a quaint, lovely city. Lots of beautiful architecture. Mostly, the people are very kind and fun to be with.

Food is good, hospitality is good and a nice hotel to stay in is called the Orbita, on Pushkinskya Boulevard. 39 Pushkinskaya.

Another one is Victoria Hotel, in the Center of the city.

    You won't be disappointed.
