Nothing groundbreaking has changed in terms of user experience: we still have the start button and the programs list still sometimes takes a while to load even on 4GB RAM! I recently got rid of 2 windows 7 laptops (2 remaining - work and junk). Now everyone at home is on Mac plus mac mini home theatre system!
