  • I bet he could hit a golf ball over a quarter of a mile.... (uncle rico)

  • @cinderellaboy55 Maybe back in 82. Dead serious

  • WHAT A SHANK!!?!??!?!

  • @0:30 he was so close to knocking that pile of balls down!

  • houston we have launch

  • Lads, ye can talk about, wraps under the left hand or right hand, loft, launch angle, rpm etc, etc, all boring, but if ye dunno how to get around the course, then its all bullshite, if ya cant get up and down from 30 yards every time, then how far you drive the ball is utterly meaningless.

  • i think that ball just hit my house, i live in missouri

  • + 1/32, 703 gold grip with 12 wraps under left hand and 10 under right hand -- and after watching the vid -- maybe size should be explained to us guys that have gripped thousands of clubs

  • boner

  • if i was a touring pro (or long drive specialist), i would love to play the happy gilmore part at some driving ranges and get all the people going..........it would be fun to show up in a hockey jersey and start driving balls over the range, shouting out "$50 bucks i can knock it out of the range onto the highway"..........

  • he's a duster

  • @chakenfangersaregood WHERE DO THEY SELL THOSE!!!!

  • I think he hit the mountain in the background...

  • @Camden1101 with a wedge

  • What country do you live in that pays in bugs .. I wish that were the case down here I would be rich living I'n Louisiana

  • I would pay 300bugs for a pink shaft in my G10. PING please make it possible!!!!

  • @Turboshotshaper im about to make your day, have you heard of shaft wraps? They make a bright pink shaft cover for only about 10 bucks, how does that sound?

  • @Turboshotshaper i would pay 500bugs. lol

  • @sindude300 guys you can buy it for around 140$ on EBAY ! a friend of mine has it, i nearly won one at around 85$ shop around, Grafalloy Pink shaft... or the Matrix one

  • Did I hear 345 at the end? Carry?

  • This clip captures Bubba Watson testing a couple of his G15 drivers on the PING Tour testing range. The specs of his G15 driver are 7.5°, custom Bi-Matrix X-Flex shaft at 44.5'' tipped .5'' with a 703 gold grip with 12 wraps of tape under the left hand and 10 wraps of tape under the right hand.

  • @PING with 7.5 degrees i can hit it longer... thats not magic thats topspin.. and a good swing .. pro from inglewood! be scared blood im commin

  • @QuotaPBaby topspin would be magic since its impossible

  • @themothmanreturns u dont play golf... y am i talkin to u

  • @QuotaPBaby you're a pro and you think he hits his drives with topspin?! hahahahaha please, don't make me laugh!

  • @themothmanreturns that was funny i admit, but u understand lower degree drivers produce less spin encouraging tremendous roll....now the fact i can hit it 340 with a 6 degree and only 295- 305 with my 9... have you ever considered playing golf from other then the red tees?

  • @QuotaPBaby "Encouraging tremendous roll"? Uh you ever play spring golf in the Northeast?

  • @PGASpellissy nah imma cali boy please excuse the sun on my face...

  • @themothmanreturns You dont know anything about golf! so stop commmeting. nobody wants u here

  • @xxxkev9 I know he doesn't hit hes drives with topspin!

  • @QuotaPBaby Golf shots can't have top spin. If it did it would dive into the ground immediately. It either spins or it doesn't, and it's only spinning in one direction. It spins backward and that axis it spins on can be tilted to the left or right. Imagine drawing a vertical line on a golf ball and striking it. A perfectly straight ball would have the line remain vertical in flight. A ball that spins out to the right would have the line tilt to the right, left spin vice versa.

  • @dschultz6072 right but any golfer knows 7.5 drivers put roll on the ball....im not impressed ..

  • @QuotaPBaby It makes it harder to get into the air unless you hit it hard, pretty much all a lower loft can theoretically do. There's much more to it, like the shaft profile. So many things to take into account when talking about ball flight that you can't just make blanket statements like lower loft = more roll. LD guys I know use 5 or 6 degree drivers and still can't get a ton of roll because their strike puts too much spin on it still. There's always a perfect balance between carry n roll

  • @QuotaPBaby no it doesnt. It depends on launch angle and spin rate...I I hit a 7.5 lofted driver at a 14 degree launch angle and 3900 rpm of spin, the ball wont roll at all. Now if I hait the 7.5 at a 12 degree launch angle with 2400 rpm of spin it will roll. it all depends on what the specifc player does at impact. Bubba hits is ball on the up swing which is why he uses a 7.5. A few years ago tiger was hitting down on his driver...he had a 10.5 in the bag. Now he its up on it and has an 8.5

  • @PING LOL who has the pleasure of the 10 wraps.

  • is he testing the i15?
