@kristolaos he is using a chorus guitar effect to do that on purpose, it recreates the guitar signal and swerves between frequencies, I wish it wasn't as pronounced as this though, the section in the album recording of this song sounds much better imo

@hereg2007 yeah i actually just started listening to DT. i might never have the opportunity to hear the original lineup. most bands you can replace people, but i think everybody in dream theater is essential to their sound. just my 2 cents.
