I know someone said this already but if this game was played using NFHS rules (national federation), the runner would be called out. The only time a runner can hurdle a fielder is when they are COMPLETELY lying on the ground. Great effort on the runner's part but sorry, he's out according to Federation rules.

Nice jump, although I think he should have been called out. Search my video Super Scott and look at the discussion between two umpires about my son's hurddle over the third baseman. They don't quite agree with each other. Imagine that. :)
