Nice Z28 man. I've got a 99 Trans Am M6 and I had the same squeak problem. Ended up replacing the serpentine/AC belt twice/tensioners/and most of the pulleys, and hopefully its gone for good now. Nice music too, Cant go wrong with Steel Dragon

@gmpushrodsftw No it will not! Mine gets between 28 to 30MPG when I am cruising between 70 and 80MPH on the interstate in 6th gear! Below 70MPH it gets around 26MPG, at 55MPH it gets around 24MPG, and in the city it's between 20 and 24MPG. But no it won't get anywhere close to 30MPG at 55MPH.

@MrFootball150 Get the T-56 bro! If you ever want to go big heads and cams or boost you'll want to build your trans anyways. In total of parts and labor it cost me $2000! And that was a Stage 2 and 1/2 trans kit, Stage 2 and 1/2 clutch, light weight flywheel, Tick Performance Master Cylinder, Slave cylinder, and lines. Everything needed to hold 700RWHP! So it's not going to have any problems till I'm finished with it! But T-56 parts are cheaper and easier than 4L60E parts! Go 6 speed bro!

@FHFCFB100 I may seem short tempered because the only excuse I hear from people about why they don't like these cars is MPGs! And I don't know if I just have a freak one that magically gets great MPG or if these other people just have no clue or if they jus owned a shitty one that wasn't taken care of! The dealer lot sticker when i bought mine said 24 MPG for the Autos and 26 MPG for the 6 speeds! And that's tested at 60MPH. My car at 75-80 MPH gets 28-29MPG depending on temperature!

But your getting great mpg because you know how to drive your car with precision, i know my truck gets about 19 to 25 in the early / late. So as long as you don't have a led foot, you will pay minimal in gas. I am very passionate about Camaro's. What i know though is, when you buy a car, if its to good to be true, its false, you happened to get a prize. like you said "minimal damage" that can all be buffed out.

@stikiller27 The day that I bought it I drove 196 miles from Georgetown, TX to Rockwall, TX in under two hours and only used 6 1/2 gallons of gas. That's 30.1 MPG do the math yourself if you want! I get 30MPG on the highway but I have to be doing between 80-90MPH in 6th gear. Under 80MPH i get about 28, under 70MPH i get about 26. In town I get about 20-22MPG. The car is mechanically flawless! And has been re-painted. Check out my other vids!

@sniper6289 The stock 3.42 rear gears with the T-56 6 speed tranny. All stock except exhaust and intake. I can get 30MPG if I can cruise between 80-90MPH in 6th gear on the interstate. Under 80MPH I get about 28, under 70 It's about 24-27(depending on traffic and stops). In the city I get about 22-24 depending on lights and traffic.

@sniper6289 Yeah it's because you have an auto 4spd transmission and really tall rear end gears! Autos not only Kill RWHP but they also eat up the Gas Mileage! 6spd is the way to go! Has never let me down, fun to drive, Better MPGs, and it gives me more control over the vehicle!

And like I said you are having to fix the things that are wrong such as the paint and the door panel. Once again I am not knocking your car just saying that you had to FIX those things and the car wasn't just immaculate when you got it as you claimed in the other video.

@rextuner03 Well then yes, I miss spoke. It wasn't immaculate when I bought it, but it is now. And I'm not sure what you are saying about the door panels. I didn't have to fix them but either way. And I get 30MPGs in my Camaro. But there is a trick lol! I have to be in 6th gear between 80-90MPH. Under 80MPH it's about 28MPG so it's not bad. In town I get about 24MPG. But I do have respect for the STI WRXs I have raced a couple and they were really good competition. They weren't stock though.

But Yeah my buddy has a 2001 SS with Cam/Heads intake, exhaust and an awesome tune and he has about 485RWHP! It's an awesome car! It shakes the ground when it idles because of the cam lol! If I am within 5 feet of his car with my car and they are both running I can't hear mine at all! It's crazy. I'm planning to do a nice streetable cam/heads setup and then maybe some nitrous. I'm not sure yet.

@rextuner03 Damn! 35PSI?! That's a lot of boost lol! My buddy Daniel Linnett used to have a 6.0L GTO that we built, it was twin turboed running 20PSI(10PSI per turbo). It put down 840RWHP and 1100RWTQ! It was a monster. It would outrun Busas and his best 1/4 time was 10.2 while spinning 4th gear on slicks! It was narly! We never could get it to hook up. He didn't want to tub it out and everything so he just parted it out and sold the Chassis. He has a Lingerfelter G8 now. Runs low 11s on streets

@AdrenalineJunky17 Yeah those V8's don't need much boost to make power. Just like the old saying goes there is no replacement for displacement lol. I have a few friends with some huge hp domestics. Only problems with them is once you get to a certain hp then you just can't get traction for shit.

But I want to get a really good suspension setup for mine because I like drag racing and stuff, but I really like autocross! I went to an autocross a few years ago when I had my civic and I loved it! man you HAVE to get rid of those wheels. they're heavy as fuuuck. my friend Adam has a '98 Z28 and he used to have the same wheels. he went from those to some skinnies and 9's and dropped almost 2 tenths off his time. i own an '01 t/a WS6. SLP lid, Pacesetter lt's, and full catless exhaust. no tune but i run 12.85 consistently on streets. porting the t.b. and maf this weekend then off to have it tuned.

@AdrenalineJunky17 yea its an auto. i bought it on purpose b/c of the fact that autos are quicker through the 1/4, especially with lock-up converters. it moves good for only having a lid and catless exhaust. it runs pretty rich since it hasnt been tuned yet but ive surprised many a mustang owner lol. just cant wait to switch to skinnies (probably 5") and 9 or 10" wheels w/ slicks. you'll notice a significant difference in your e.t. with a switch in rubber and wheels.

It was a white and black GT with a Eleanor cloned style exhaust! Mustangs are just slow Lol! It's kinda sad that a Naturally aspirated V8 can beat a Supercharged V8 in the 1/4 mile. Cobra vs Camaro SS. But yeah man you can deffinitely tell a difference in just changing wheels and tires!
