I got it to extract by right clicking and extracting it instead of opening it in my winrar program then extracting. and if anyone is getting errors downloading into the game directory then do what i did and download the files onto a file you create on your desktop then copy and paste them into your game directory..

@TheGta911 I don't think so, you could always make an order of the game if you want to buy it, but it's much easier to download it and install it for free from a torrent site, max. seeded torrents are usually safest, so you can try ThePirateBay org for it.

@1operson1o What are your specs? I see you're running the game on highest graphics. I kinda' lag on lowest, but I don't think it's the graphics, might be something else. It's all fine on SP but when I try MP I lag.

@catalinaga Well I have a GTX 470 and an i7 with 9 Gb of ram so yea. but since you only lag in MP, it probably means that ur internet is slow. try closing anything that goes online before you start MP.

The only thing I wish the game(normal game as well) had was a way to follow the vechiles instead of scrolling.

I love this mod! The sounds, the effects are all awesome!

But there's way too many vechiles for me to remember what each is LOL.

My favorite is chasing people.When you click chase, and the cops get close enough, they get out and automatically withdraw their gun and yell get down(I think) cause the people get down with their hands on their head.So awesome.

I downloaded it today cause I was tired of the same old basic map.

And its cool that there's a hospital.

To install it go to the website where it is, find it under the download section, then on the thread its listed on click download.It will download, then it will open the documents part of your computer, double click on LA Mod, unzip or compress it. Then once its unzipped, double click it again, the set up(like your installing a game) will come up, then make sure its opening it in your 911 first responders folder. And it should work.

I bring a normal fire truck as well, because sometimes the vechiles explode and catch things on fire. Like today, before I could even get responders enroute to the accident all four cars exploded and caught neighboring cars and buildings on fire.I had a HUGE fire and the accident.

I can help you for 911.. firstly i solved my problem with re-install my game.. but diffrently before installation I haven't removed wizardworks directory "\WizardWorks\911 - First Responders" after that I installed LA mod 2.0 and after 2.2 fix patch.. so now I'm using this without any problem

At the end of the call you send them back to the station and they all get out of there car. How do i keep them from doing that... OR how do i call them back in there truck or medic car?

@runegobigred5 you know about the control panel thats at each station right?(it lets you select units to call, sound the alarm, or move gates) well, literally the LAST button on that control panel is to select or deselect the option to let your people exit vehilces, hope this helps :) (or just pm me)

the flares are really just fore show and they look REALLY  realistic so they put it in the mod. It helps make clean-ups look bettr also. I blelive they stop or turn around civilian cars also but im not sure

Mine is an Intel Core i7 920 With windows 7 64-bit. GFX card is average: ATI radeon HD 4650 with a Blastin 23" 1920x1080 screen. I also set fraps to run the vid @ 30 fps so its a little sped up than normally. The LA mod especially uses up a lot of gpu and cpu
