traxxas slash waterproof

We did this with a stock Traxxas Slash out of box. 2 wheel drive and I would not recommend doing it with a lipo. It was floating for a moment but the stock wheels kept it moving well. Honestly I thought I was going in the water after it .

u can use any lipo in water.

its not recommended, but iam doing it since a year now in my summit,

no problems so far.

k you need to Water proof battery bu adding a balloon around the battery where the wires come out so if you water proof that then it will be allllll good and maybe the connection from the battery to E.S.C i put mine in the bath tub with the balloons and no problems to report battery fine motor fine too!!!!

mrmanchew i've run mine in water and gone thru 4 or 5 motors. but a guy at my LHS said that you have to break the motors in. and i've not had a problem since.

ehhh no. not exactly. as long as you take it out right after you drive and dry it and put somethin on it maybe DW40 and it wont rust. thats what the store manager at rchobbies told me lol. :D

the slash isnt water proof it is water resistant but not proof

Nope. These are hobby rade, and the new traxxas Xl5's come fully waterproof.
