this one has 2 layers in between the tips so 4x4x4.
Than again you designed it with"
But than I remember when I compare to the tetrahedron and think about let's say the vcube mechs it makes sense.elite tetrahedron has 3 layers to turn. It's just that there are no faces oposite to each other. Thus thinking the above is the wrong direction.
more people need to make these things, so that there is more competition and more of the really awesome stuff reaches the market.
i mean, if you got the parts printed by another company, you could instantly start selling kits. or are you getting patents, and thats why it takes so long?
drew made the master skewb already kryp7on1t3. this isnt a 4x4, its technically a 7x7 the way it is designed and built. a 4x4 would not have a big edge in the middle like that if it was 4x4 :o
i can imagine it would. such a complex puzzle must probably take a lot of time to cast, smooth, paint, sticker, ect. :) i like the purple stickers on it. it makes it look nice! and i like how it is somewhat pillowed, but i can imagine that was done sort of for the reason like the v-cube 7 =p
Wow. The only type of cube that I can mod is an Octagonal barrel. And I use silicone sealant to fill it...Where do you get the resins/fillers for your mods?

without a doubt the most amazing puzzle you've built to date. the elite skewb is a combination or visually appealing cuts, perfect pillowing, solving difficulty, mechanical complexity, and turns flawlessly to boot!
first i thought: "isn't it of order 4x4x4?
i would concider the skewb a 2x2
the master a 3x3x3.

was the pillowing a design choice or is it required by the mechanism ?

it was needed, see the description of the video for the reason
