I used to have a westie! Now I have a Cairn Terrier (just the brown version) and we did the same as you- introduced her to a stuffed version of her breed. It and her stuffed bear are now her favorite toys and she knows not to rip them up!

My papa's west highland terrier is a little bugger. Does yours chase dogs cats and birds. Also when taking his for a walk you cant let him off of the leash and one time when we did he chased a cow. He also doesn't like fighting and tries to break it up himself and you cant be in his face unless he comes up to you. Does yours also like to tear up toys and rip out the fluff.

Just adorable. I've lost two westies to cancer after 17 wonderful years. I now have a 9 year old westie and an 11. Year old Scottie who was just diagnosed w/cancer I'm devastated. Nut nothing tops a Scottie or a westie!
