As much fun as it is watching highlights from a spectator of a Warhammer 40k tournement, I don't think there is the same clinical feeling of enjoyment that there is when playing.

hey Fritz, i will soon be attending a tournamnet. i have only ever played in tournamnets at my local store/stores if an hour away counts as local, lol. anyway, i have only lost a few games, like 5 or 6 of the many i have played with my current army, about 30 or so games. i play space marines. i am wondering about doing bigger tourneys, so can you give me tips on how to get ready. also, how can i host my own tourney.

Theres only one true lord for chaos, the demon prince :) hell take 2 of em

Termie Lords are pretty good actually. Pair him up with lightning claws and a retinue of about five Chaos termies and you've got yourself a solid unit that's good in attack and defense. Of course that's assuming you want a balanced army... Princes and Khorne Lords do better on assault and Tzeentch Sorcerers do nice for a more shooty-assaulty theme. With Chaos there's ALWAYS an assaulty theme somewhere.

imfitrator termis are not that good as infiltrate vanguard why? They are jump infantry and you HAVE to give them all power weapons. ( maybe with 1 or 2 fists)

and they WILL assault 1st turn.

He didn't play guard in the end because he knew that blackmatt etc watches his videos, so he did it as a decoy, eldar tactics in real life aswell!, unlucky about the turn 7 tho, you had it perfectly set up for turn 5:D really well done with the 2nd place guys, well done and was really well done for giving him the $60 :D

paint it black then get fine detail tape lay it in a checkered pattern and paint white pull tape off and there you go.

yea you need the paint to go on somewhere but try to reverse it black goes on last white on first.

if u guys were playing kill points, you should have reserved everything untill turn 5 when they must come in, and then kill all of the easy targets. i use this in 500 point games with my 30 orks boyz and my warbiker boss with nob biker retinue. it is so mutch fun.
