If I say the word 'master'.....It sounds like I'm saying 'masta' .That's how I talk and pronounce words. I think the artists use the words with the street pronunciation, because their music is from the streets....for the streets. Even Master P is still pronounced 'masta' by most urban adults and teens. It ain't no big deal. I guess as long as they spell it the way that they want to. I spell it the way that I want to..and the point of pronunciation still gets across......Peace.
