Something tells me that the reason why Sonic Generations wasn't on the Wii was so that Sega could still chuckle at their "Sega does what Nintendon't" marketing ploy, or the fact it's on the 3DS would suggest the Wii doesn't have "Blast Processing".

@LuwiigiMaster They were going to make Generations for the Wii but after testing if the game would work or not it didn't so instead they made Sonic Colors using what did work with Generations.

I replaced the Textures in Tropical Resort with ones from Windmill Isle of Sonic Unleashed tested it on a real Wii and it lagged so imagine how Generations would have turned out.

Plus the Wii's DVD Drive has low data transfer rate and it already takes a while to load on the 360 and PS3
